Natural peanut butter is not peanut butter for beginners. Natural peanut butter WILL separate. It WILL need to be mixed. If you do not mix it properly, you will end up unsatisfied. You will have very runny, oily, bland peanut butter for 3-5 sandwiches, and then dry, arid, and salty peanut butter for the rest of the jar. A good tip is to store unopened jars upside down, as this will make all the oil settle at the bottom-part of the jar. That way when you open the jar and start mixing, if the peanut butter at the top-end is of proper consistency, you know that the entire jar will be that way. Now that bit is out of the way, this is very good peanut butter. It's not as easy to spread as some of the other natural peanut butters (even when mixed thoroughly) but it is one of the best tasting natural peanut butters I have ever had. And super chunky is exactly that. It's like they took whole peanuts, split them into sixths, and threw them in there. If you are not careful when you chew, you will get your gums bruised. I would say that 95% of the time I enjoyed this peanut butter immensely, but there was that 5% of the time when it just wouldn't spread properly and would demolish my gums as I ate it.

I grew up on this peanut butter in Massachusetts, and I've never found any peanut butter out there (and trust me, I've tried them all) that's as good. When I studied abroad in Italy, my mom shipped it to me. When I moved to California 8 years ago, my mom shipped it to me and I would fill my suitcase whenever I went home to visit (they don't sell it in grocery stores here). I am so thrilled it's available on Amazon Prime now, and I can have it whenever I want with just the click of a button!

I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER!! I use it in many ways. I make smoothies by mixing it with some soy milk and honey in my blender. Or, I love to have it as a snack spread over slices of crisp cold apples or on Triscuits drizzled with a little honey. I also put it on cinnamon toast and even in salad dressings. -- Well, I used to buy my peanut butter from Costco; it was their own brand (Kirkland), which was in large jars, chunky (the way I like it), and at a good price. It was made the right way with just roasted peanuts and a little salt . . . with no added oil, sugar, chemicals or other junk. And then, when Costco stopped selling it, I was heartbroken. I couldn't get my favorite peanut butter any more. So, I started to SERIOUSLY search. One who loves peanut butter as much as I do, doesn't accept just any old substitute. It had to meet my expectations. Well, I found it, and this is the one. This is just roasted peanuts and a little salt . . . with no junk added. And, the price is right . . . not inflated as are the other brands. If you're looking for "real" peanut butter, then this is the one! I highly recommend it! Tastes great! It couldn't be better! Trust me on this; I'm a peanut butter "connoisseur".

A nutritionist recommended this Teddie all-natural peanut butter to me. It doesn't have extra sugar and additives as many supermarket peanut butters have. It's low in sodium, also. Love it on whole grain english muffins or even a spoonful as a snack. It's a great way to eat protein and healthy fat. When you want protein, but are going light on meat, this makes a delicious meal on whole grain toast, muffins, or on a banana or apple or celery for a snack.

The flavor of this peanut butter is very good and we find very little need to mix the oil back into this peanut butter. I.E. there is very little separation of the oil from the peanut butter. I don't know if the reason is because this is a chunky butter or not. I've never tried the smooth version!

I wish the owners of Teddie Peanut Butter would fess up--are they a non-gmo product? That is, are the "natural" peanuts used natural as they were Created in nature (and not adjusted in a lab, as Monsanto is doing with much of our basic food)?

When Teddie claims they are natural because they are non-gmo, they get a full 5 stars from me!

I had to read the ingredients a few times to make sure "magic" wasn't listed among them.

I had gotten some other brand that was also just roasted peanuts and salt (this other one had a smidge more sodium and a little less protein somehow) and I couldn't figure out why this Teddie peanut butter tasted so amazing by comparison.

I've been keeping it at room temp and haven't really stirred it much.... maybe it'll get horrible the further down I go but I doubt it....Looks good all the way through.

Maybe it's the super chunks? I don't know... I am SOLD on this stuff.

So flavorful and delicious. Highly recommended for PB lovers.
