I have been using Liquitex acrylic paints for years. I have a few tubes left from as much as fifteen years ago, and the paint is still good. The colors are creamy, vibrant and amazing. I definitely stick with the professional series, however, not the basic series, which are not as high in quality and are just for beginners or children.

There are a number of brands with better paints (Golden, Daniel Smith, for instance)IF you use a lot. But if you paint SMALL or seldom, or if you live near the ocean, you will be better off with Liquitex. Why? The tubes are plastic and do not corrode, and the tops are big and don't crack open. Also, the paints are still good after sitting around for YEARS, whereas many of the other brands of acrylics DRY UP even in a tightly sealed tube. I've seen it happen over and over. Luckily, Liquitex is also cheaper, and I've found no problem mixing it with other brands if you have any, and you WILL want others since some fancier colors are otherwise unavailable. Get the best quality Liquitex has to offer, and it will do the job.

A tiny smidgeon of this paint goes a long way, but it creates a different look to skies and water. It's a color that is tough for me to mix from my other blue paints, so it's handy to buy this ready-made hue in a tube.

I love this paint! It is liquid satin with deep and rich metallic hues that make all other metallic paints I have used look pale and inadequate. It spreads easily, and the color is consistent through each brush stroke. Even though this is a heavier paint than Liquitex's regular acrylic paint, (which is great, btw), it dries just as fast. It has good body and feel on the brush, and flows smoothly from the tube. I just love it!

I find myself using titanium white a lot to mix my colors. The size is excellent. I hate using those tiny tubes and running out of paint so quickly. The price could not be beat! I will keep my eye out for more add on deals like this one.

This is the best acrylic paint on the market in my opinion. Nice and thick with the best color ever. I paint mixed media on bamboo, and the bamboo soaks up a ton of paint, requiring numerous layers. This is the only brand I use and always receive compliments on the vibrant colors in my work. The pieces turn out really well with this brand acrylic. I have tried other brands but they seem to be too thin, or require more layers of paint. This is also cheaper than my local art store, which is nice. Great product. Plus Liquitex paints do not dry out. They last a long time. I've never had a tube go bad no matter how long it sat, even in warm weather. A big plus!

This paint applies very well, covers okay, and mixes well with white, black and other colors. It produces the colors I expect to get. I will continue buying this brand, this heavy body type, and this color. It is a staple in my paints rack.
I honestly believe that there is no perfect acrylic paint out there, but this is as good as it gets. Wouldn't you love an acrylic that covers 100%, always, without mixing, and can be made as transparent as needed with just water... I would pay quite a bit for it, if it existed.

Work great for what I needed it for. It white is very much a pure white. Almost the color of white out white, there was no smell to it unless you just put it right up to your nose an sniffed it. Which was great cause I was using it in a room with while my pets were in it. Great on wood. I would be careful with some material though cause it can peal of the wrong surface.
