Both my hoses, the cheap and the expensive made for hot water one, kink at the end where I hold it and the one that is not on a reel, kinks at the faucet. I needed something to help with that to preserve the life of the hoses. This was the least expensive I could find so I decided to try it. Very happy with them (I bought 2), they "fixed" the kinks and do NOT obstruct the water in any way I can see. Also works great connected to the sprinkler, allowing a little more flexibility when placing them.

They are being used/left in full Arizona sun, so time will tell how reliable they are. I will try to remember to update my review occasionally and note the wear.

$7.06 each, free Prime shipping when I bought them.
I plan to purchase more when the price goes back down. ;)

5/13: price went down so I purchased another one. Price is even lower as I write this ($6.88). Amazon must think it is eBay or something! Really, I think all the price changes are ridiculous.

After having two 4-outlet faucet to hose connectors fall apart, I saw the little support arm the manifold came with - you have to drill into the wall to set it up. But that support takes some of the pressure off the manifold extending the poor thing's life. This little piece does the same thing - the manifold can be placed on the ground or other surface, so it's not just hanging from the faucet. Less pressure and stress = longer life. We all should be so lucky.

Fantastic idea to to reduce tension on hoses. I have purchased five of these since May 2013, and so far three of them are leaking where the two parts of the metal coupling join. The metal needs to be much stronger.

Great piece for the right problem. I used one of these to attach a hose to a splitter that hangs from our fence, and another one to attach to a hose reel. The flexibility of the piece allows it to bend, even with a hose pulling on it.

Super easy to use, seals well, and doesn't reduce pressure.

The was used on the side of the camper for the flushing rig I put together to hook both the flushing hose and drinking water hose together in a Y configuration. This worked out better than the over short hose (the one with spring in it) because it was easier to flex.

Does what I wanted, make a sharp turn in my hose. But the ends are made of aluminum or pot metal and difficult to seal. As I'm attaching a plastic unit, I had to be very careful to tighten it without breaking the drip-irrigation timer. I may have gotten it, I'll know tomorrow. But that's a lot of money for a junky, stress-inducing "tool". I won't buy it again. If anyone knows of a better unit that will do a short 180, please let me know.

While there is not a lot to say about a hose connector this guy helped us out. We have 2 hose spigots essentially on top of each other, one for cold and the other hot (hockey rink). It is nearly impossible particularly in cold weather to get the hose onto the top spigot, this makes a huge difference. Like almost all connectors I have ever used it is prone to some leakage.
