When the tire on my Milwaukee hand truck (purchased at Home Depot) was shredded to pieces a few months back, I very quickly found a replacement tire on Amazon, rim and all for about $10. Perfect, I thought - 'that was easy.' When the new tire arrived and I went to install it however, expecting probably just a few turns of a bolt or something to that effect, I found myself scratching my head. The internet then helped introduce me to lock washers, and after watching a few videos of people aggressively beating their dollys with hammers, I said 'that doesn't look fun.' Complicating the process, finding the right size washer was a pain in the butt. You would think HD would sell them since half of the items in that aisle require them for keeping wheels on things - nope. Long story short, I got these yesterday, smashed off the old one with a hammer and screwdriver, gently tapped on one of these little guys, and I'm back up and running in about 7 minutes. Add that one to the handy man resume!

My handtruck has the wheels retained on the axles with these. I had to remove a tire to repair it, and the original retainer broke as it was being removed. I searched the internet, including Amazon, for a replacement, but could not find one of the appropriate size.

Two days later, on Amazon again, there it was, on the ribbon part way down the page I happened to be on. Thank you Amazon, for finding this for me.

They are high quality, stainless steel, and fit perfectly.

When I first received them, I thought the count was wrong, as they were packaged in a plastic bag, and I could only see 3. But upon opening the bag, I found that several were nested, and impossible to discern as being nested, without first opening the bag.

I had to replace the wheels on my chipper/shredder and replacing these locking rings is par for the course.

The measurements were spot on: they fit very snugly so there was no wiggling, but the did fit.

I was concerned because these did not look as beefy as those I replaced; However, they are doing a fine job so far!

I've never replaced a tire on a cart before, so the wheels i bought came with a tapered ring, but i broke it trying to push it on the first time. So i had to get a replacement, and got these and they fit snugly and did not break.

I had to replace a wheel on my hand trucks. The original lock ring broke and was not useable. While this is not a heavy duty ring, it is an excellent replacement item to hold the new wheel on and in the correct place. and I have 4 spares if ever needed! Recommended.

These are very thin compared to what was on the hand cart before, it came five pieces in a package. So I used two rings per side. Maybe be overkill, but seems to work. So far I'm satisfied.

Will not rust when using with a Boat Trailer to hold the Rollers. They are available in different sizes to fit roller axles. You can also change your steel axles to Stainless Steel to help stop the rust that accumulates inside the roller shaft.
