Although shipping took nearly a month, I ordered 3 bulbs and they worked fine immediately upon plugging into my uv lamp. There was no damage to any of the three bulbs; However, each bulb arrived in a small, thin cardboard box (large enough to just cover the bulb itself), and wrapped in bubble wrap - I was surprised they were not broken or damaged during shipping. I would still recommend this item since they are working well for me.
