I was at the sand bar on the lake when another boat parked next to us, His radio sounded awesome, so I asked about the speakers. I was already sold on the sound that came out of them. I bought a set for my boat and the sound is wonderful. $69.00 is a real bargain on these.

Right from the beginning, I didn't actually know if this came with only one, or two speakers. The price was pretty low when I bought this, that I didn't believe there could be two speakers in there, but there were.

The price is amazing for these two speakers, and they actually handle a bunch of power. If you're upgrading speakers, I dare you to check out the power they're rated for. The ones I replaced were only rated for 25 measly Watts.

The extra wattage these can handle is great for two reasons:
1. You can get an amp to power them even harder and get greater quality music from them.
2. It gives you some wiggle room, as over powering speakers will cause damage to them over time.

If you have speakers on your boat, or you want to add some, these ones are a great choice!

I didn't realize I was buying the same exact speakers I was replacing but they were being replaced because the cones disintegrated after a few years under a boat cover outdoors. Hopefully I will have a new boat before these cones are destroyed again.

Product is very well marked for installation - if you are older tho make sure to bring your reading glasses.
They sound great and so far we have ZERO distortion - they play even when the engine is running and we are cruising around.

Arrive on time and the sound is excellent. Used to replace old Jensen Speakers. Tight fit in existing cutout but it worked. Speakes are driven by a Sony Marine radio/CD/AM-FM tuner. In my mind this was a good value for a quality product

Mounted four of these in my small fishing boat. Install was easy: use a 5" hole saw to make opening, then use included template to mark mounting screw holes, drill, and mount. Using a Sony head unit, these speakers sound great. Turn them up and my setup is almost as obnoxious as the wakeboard boat in the slip next to me...

I have a total of 4 of these speakers on my pontoon boat, with a basic Sony system. They sound fine. I used to do audio work, so I'm the first to say that these are not the best speakers out there. But for the price, they sound "good enough". I really feel that these are the best marine speakers out there for the price. WAY better than the West Marine speakers that I replaced.

Purchased these to replace an earlier version (1610) of the same speaker. I thought these were going to be an upgrade because the advertising says 65 watts rms and my old ones say 40 on the back. The new speakers also say 40 watts on the back. I didn't see any difference in the two models. They fit in the same holes exactly the same. Originals were already fully disintegrated at the time I purchased the boat so I don't expect them to last more than a couple of years. These do sound better than I expected and can easily hear them over the sound of my 115 four stroke at any speed. Kids are now happy in the fishing boat.
