I've used K&N oil filters before with both Amsoil and Mobil 1 Full-Synthetic oil. I have a 1997 non-diesel, 350 C.I.D Chevy truck with 243,000 miles, and change the oil about every 4,000-5,000 miles. Honestly, I've found that any Napa brand premium oil filter, Wix filter, or the K&N filter with a synthetic media, filter the oil wonderfully.
