The stated price per ounce is way off. At $32.99 for a 23.2-ounce container, it's actually $1.42 per ounce (not $0.69 per ounce).

I ordered this because the title says Similac Advance Early Shield (old formula). My baby is having problems (diarrhea) with the new formula so I was looking for Early Shield (old formula) specifically. Please update the photo and title (and descriptions) so people like me do not get confused.

This was purchased to supplement while I was breastfeeding. My son took to it well. He didn't experience any stomach issues. I eventually weaned him off breastmilk and used this formula for about 5 months until he could drink whole milk. I was pretty lucky to be able to find a formula that didn't give us issues.

lead me to believe I would be getting three of these as it said in the "product specifications_product information" section in my Amazon iPad app "Brand-Similac", "Item Package Quantity-3", "Manufacturer-Similac"...if this is only for one it is not a good deal. I can get them for $26 at my local store. I bought them here understanding I was getting them for $10.93 each tub. So be careful...

For formula it's great. Baby takes it and it dissolves well. However the front security tag is worthless. It detaches very easily without tampering. I looked at the same product in a store and at least half of the tags were detached. I'd just check under the lid for the container's airtight aluminum seal's integrity before getting concerned.

Item is alright but upset it was cheaper elsewhere.....at a LOCAL STORE (TAR...T) get the gist. In addition, seen some organic formulas for the same price. Would rather get the ORGANIC ones than this one. It's good it doesn't have GMO but for the same price as organic at another local store I rather go get that instead.

Just switched from breastmilk to formula and this is what our Dr suggested. At 6 weeks old my little one had lost weight and weighed her birthweight. She gained almost a pound in 3 days on this. She doesn't spit up as much either. It does sometimes make her gassy though. I also found that this size container is cheaper by $6 at Walmart and target! Sign up on similac.com and they will also send you some coupons!
