When I took this jersey out of the packaging, I was immediately struck by how pleasant the fabric felt. It is lightweight and very smooth. On a 40 mile ride on a humid morning I was impressed with how well it breathed and how it felt like I wasn't wearing a sweaty shirt. The color (red) is brilliant and deep and I feel like it made me visible to oncoming traffic on the back one lane road where I was riding.

I usually go for a more snug fitting jersey and this (XL) is not that. It is a very loose cut and a bit long. When riding, it is very comfortable, even though it's loose. When standing, it hangs way down in the back. Usually my jersey pockets are at mid back level. This one hangs around my butt. So, if you like the snugger fit, go for a size smaller. If you are a more casual rider or go for a more modest fit, this is perfect.

All in all, it is a great product!

Having used Pearl Izumi gear for many years my expectations for this jersey were high. My expectations have been met. I am impressed with the quality of the fabric and construction. The overall design is fantastic. Breathablility is outstanding. I've worn this journey many times for 2+ hour rides in the heat and humidity of mid-Atlantic summer and have never felt overheated. At the end of my ride the jersey is barely damp indicating a great ability to wick away sweat.
All aspects of the design and construction are on par with PI's consistently superior quality. My XL size fits just right on my 6'2"/195# frame. One added bonus is the smaller "key" pocket sewn into one of the rear pockets. Makes it easy to carry keys/money/iphone and keep them separated from other items like bananas and powerbars. There is a waterproof lining in the small pocket that keeps the sweat from seeping into the contents of the small pocket. I don't hand over soggy bills when I stop for breakfast after my ride... A small thing but shows how PI thinks things through and makes quality products. One of my riding buddies bought one after seeing it on me and checking it out after a ride. Recommended.

I'm 6 ft 185 lbs and this jersey fits me just right for casual touring (ie, RAGBRAI). I usually stick with C9 workout shirts which do a good job, but on longer rides where I leave my bike I'd always wanted the pockets on the back. Looking forward to some long rides this summer!

This is a quality jersey. The finish and material is very nice. The zipper work well. (not always the case with cycling jerseys) It wicks away moisture very well, even in the very humid weather we have been having lately. Sizing is a little small so order one size larger than you normal would. Bright color that washes with no trouble. Only issue is shoulder fit is a little tight. Even in extra-large size.

Fit: it says right on the tags "semi-form fitting". Which means it fits like a t-shirt. I have a small and it fits just like my size small t-shirts. So for people looking for a skin-tight jersey for racing or training–go look elsewhere. If you need to go fast to keep up with a group or find yourself struggling in strong headwinds a tighter fitting jersey will be more aerodynamic. If you have a large upper body you'll likely fill the shirt out better than I do.

Comfort: very comfortable, durable fabric. The half zip design lets in an amazing amount of breeze on a hot day.

Pockets: amazing. I mainly bought the shirt for the rear cargo pockets because I was having a tough time carrying necessities. I carry my cell phone (in a ziplock) in the middle pocket, a Clif bar on the left, and a zippered sunglass case containing a repair kit in the right pocket. Some people carry a water bottle in the jersey pocket, but remember that extra weight gets pushed onto an already uncomfortable bike seat.

Looks: it's ok. Not my favorite collar design. I actually prefer the look on the Quest Jersey (rather than Quest Tour Jersey) which uses the same color collar as the rest of the shirt. I do like the shirt I bought being mostly black because I somehow manage to get chain grease on my cycling shirts more often than not. I would have preferred a skin-tight jersey but I got a great deal on the jersey so that's why I purchased it. Cool reflective design elements on the back and I like the colored accents on the sides.

I love this jersey. Like a few other people have said....It fits just a tad loose. I'm not talking about potato sack loose like someone else but loose enough. I generally wear an XL in clothing so I bought an XL with this. Obviously not as loose as other clothing in XL but not that skin tight feel a lot of jerseys have.

This jersey also has great back pockets and really helps with keeping cool. One thing to keep in mind is the zip. Doesn't unzip all the way and some people really like the full zip jersey's. I'll be taking this bad boy out on his first bike race in 4 weeks! I'm sure it will do great.

I have been on a few rides with this jersey now and i'm pretty amazed at how dry I stay, I almost thought I wasn't pushing hard enough because I wasn't soaking wet (Florida = humid). This is a quality jersey but as I find with all synthetic materials order it a size larger than you normally wear or it clings in odd places. I'm considering buying another while the price is still low.
