I love this butter dish! I use it for one cube. The handle makes it easy to take the top off. It's pretty and practical. Came very well packaged. I'm so glad that Amazon has an extensive offering of Polish Pottery!

My husband thought I had spent too much until he saw this. This is truly beautiful.

It does fit the long cubes of butter if you angle them. However, there is room on both sides of the stick, so you can cut off what you need and not really mess up the rest of the butter. It is made for the Euro-style cubes, though. Those fit perfectly.
