Bought this to keep our 5.5 yr old Shiba Inu from getting wet in the rain. He takes forever to dry off so keeping him dry is a priority. This is the fourth raincoat we've bought for him and it will be the last. We've gone through an Outward Hound raincoat, the Ruffwear Cloud Chaser and Ruffwear K9 Overcoat. All of the previous three didn't fit him well. They were too long. Because he has a big chest it's hard to fit him without the coat being too long. Hurtta has various sizes to fit different dog physiques and I measured him as they specified. This raincoat fits him perfectly. The construction is top notch, it's waterproof as specified and it looks good on him. The adjustable collar helps to adjust the fit on him. Overall a great raincoat and highly recommended.

Keeps my dog dry in the rain. The Houndex works so well I bought another raincoat for my other dog, a winter coat for my other dog, and a winter coat for my friend's dog. Dries reasonably quickly, but if you need it sooner, a quick run on low in the dryer and it's ready to go.

I'm in AL for winter where it had been raining part of every day for the past three weeks. Tootsie loves her raincoat. I love it more. It's a size 18, Tootsie is a Bichon and weight about 12 pounds. The coat covers her tummy, that means I don't have to dry or clean her tummy when we come back for a walk. Bichon's have very thick hair, usually takes 20 minutes to dry her after a walk in the rain. Now I just wipe her feet and dry off her head. I'm done and she came go play. Great purchase, very well made and Tootsie loves wearing it.

I bought 2 of these and they are nice but they have to work on their quality control. The snaps on the belly strap were reversed on both of them. On one, the elastic string near the neck broke when I tried to tighten it. The mfg, after some pleading, took care of it. They do fit very well and the fabric is good.

Love Hurtta Pet Collection jackets. My dog is a shih tzu/maltese mix and I have trouble finding jackets that fit him correctly. The size options are great on this (I have the same size in the winter jacket). Fits well, is comfortable for him, and he doesn't mind wearing it! Also, does a great job at keeping in dry!
