This is the second armband I have purchased for my SGS2, and just like the first this one doesnt fit. I got it today and was excited to go take it on a long run and its about half an inch too small. I cant get the cover even close to going over the top of it. I am pretty disappointed considering I have a 15k I am running next week and that is too far of a run to have my phone in my pocket. Maybe somebody will make an armband that fits my phone as this one clearly doesnt and it will be getting returned this week

Pros:
1. Cheap
2. Greatly adjustable
3. Doesn't slide down a sweaty arm.

Cons:
1. Because of the placement of the SGS2's speaker placement, listening to music without headphones is a challenge. Had to make an extra hole in the back to let the audio out.
2. The clear material on the touch screen area doesn't sit completely against the screen and can cause difficulty in use.
3. The phone doesn't completely fit inside enough for the bottom flap to close completely. I've noticed my phone trying to "escape" on long runs.

For the price it's not a bad deal but I'll look for something better and be willing to pay the money now.

When the phone (sgh-i777/AT&T in my case) is inside the case, the power button and volume rocker are completely inaccessible. Since you must wake up the phone via the power button in order to do anything with it, this holder renders the phone useless. I'm unsatisfied enough to take the $5 shipping hit and return it.

This armband effectively holds my Galaxy s2 against my arm while running but so would duct tape.

The material itself feels very foamy and I'm afraid I'm going to rip the cover every time I insert my phone.

There is no way to access the power or volume buttons on the device once it's in the band. Even when removed from my arm, it's a pain to adjust the volume.

The see-through cover is very reflective and it's almost impossible to see the screen of the device when it's on your arm.

So long as you have a play-and-go approach to your phone while running or whatever activity you engage in, it'll be fine (at least until the foam tears). But if you need to adjust the volume, change songs, access applications or answer the phone while it's in the case, you might be frustrated.

Love the color, though.

I didn't have very high standards for a running armband when I picked this out. I just needed something that would hold my phone on my arm and let me still use the screen while running. I hate running with my phone in my pocket, and carrying it in my hand is annoying because I sweat all over it.

This gets the job done. I wear it on my forearm so its easy to change songs, see my runkeeper stats, etc while running, and it is relatively comfortable there. My SGS2 fits snugly inside, and the headphone jack lines up with the hole, The screen cover doesn't seem to impede my ability to use the touch screen.

Overall, great product that I would recommend.

The armband does it's job of holding the Samsung Galaxy S2 in the place (note: you need to take it out of any case first though), but it renders the phone nearly useless in doing so.

First, the power and audio buttons are completely covered by a firm leatherish border so it's hard to use them. Tough to access any of the functions when you can't turn on the screen. It also puts pressure on the side buttons, so may turn the phone off or change the volume by itself if you have it on too tight.

Second, the layout of the phone when this is on is very difficult to view. The accelerometer is mostly to blame for this (the screen looks upside down and horizontally aligned when viewing attached), but it's something that should have been considered in product design-- i.e. add in a way to swivel the phone or tilt it while in the armband.

All in all, it's a pretty poor solution to the problem of using a Samsung Galaxy S2 while jogging.
