I used this hard neoprene rubber sheet instead of thin-set mortar to set the base of my 4-piece ready-made shower. It's durable, quiet, and requires no clean up---except for the excess trim and the drain hole, which takes a second to throw in the trash. There are optional thickness', sizes, densities, and surfaces, for which there are numerous applications they can be used for.

Great Customer Service and Product

I needed some rubber for a project I was working on but knew little about rubber. I called Rubber Cal who provided me a quick education and samples of the two types of neoprene rubber that seemed to meet my project needs. Once I received the samples I was able to make a decision and thankfully Amazon carried small enough pieces that met my financial needs. The company shipped the product quickly and I am very happy with the purchase.

durable, but has an odor

This product is durable but it had a chemical odor for about a month. I suggest you open the roll and let it air out in your garage for a month if you plan on using this indoors!
