My KIA uses a synthetic power steering fluid. Very expensive at the dealer. After flushing the system and topping off with this product, my power steering was back to normal. Would recommend this big-time.

Compared to the nasty fluid that was in the reservoir for 10 years and 86,000 miles, this fluid was much cleaner and resulted in a quieter pump with reduced effort at the steering wheel. I used a turkey baster to drain the reservoir. I did this enough times to use about 1/3 the bottle, drove for a month, then used another 1/3 of the bottle.

Vehicle was a 2004 Buick Rainier with the 5.3L V8.

Pros:
Smooth steering response, quick and slick, quiet.
Great price
No foaming
No additional leaking (My system was already leaking at FIRST.....)
Universal steering fluid - Works with MOST (Not all) PS applications

Cons:
Will have to wait to see if it will last in vehicle

Update Nov 13, 2014: A couple of months after using this additive, my steering system started to leak all over -
my pump seals, connecting hoses and rack started leaking all over. I have modified my star rating from 5 to 1. I had
my system pulled out and completely rebuilt after the leaks were found.

Conclusion:
Definitely NOT for Honda civic. You could try it in other vehicles if you can risk it. Very disappointed in this one.
