Ah... The Seven Sisters pedals. They are small and portable and their rechargeable batteries last for hours - no, days. I had to order this one to try it out and I am glad I did. At first, I thought the compression was too subtle - while testing it out at home. When I took it to Band practice, I found out I was wrong. The range on this pedal is just right. A lot of other pedals will astound you while sitting at the guitar store, or in your bedroom, but fall flat when you get out and play with others. This pedal does just the opposite. If you want the best compressor you can buy for recording, look elsewhere. If you want an incredibly solid performer for playing live or with others, buy this one.

BTW, I love the size of the Seven Sisters Line. I can fit five of these on a pedal board that measures 12 inches by 6 inches. You can easily make such a small board from a 1x6 piece of pine from a hardware store. Paint it and glue some felt from a craft store on one side and you're good to go. No need to carry a power source with you. Try that with other pedals. You could probably fit the entire Seven Sisters line on the smallest pedal board you can find.
