This is a very strong sturdy shear. I purchased them to use in my sewing room when cutting thick denim and corduroy fabrics. I should have gotten the longer ones. But the 7 inches are good. These are sharp. You don't want them in the hands of a child. It's more like a knife with handles.

I am taking Jewelry Classes and found these 7" Shears are sharp enough to cut up to 16 gauge sheet metal. I mostly use copper; brass; silver; and, bronze. Many times I use the shears rather than the jewelers saw to cut out my metal shapes. The shears have an ergonomic handle and they are ambidextrous. Most of my classmates are now using these Shears and are very happy.

Purchased as a replacement for a much larger set of Wiss shears that someone lost or kept for their own. They are very sharp, cut well, comfortable. The blades are not 10 inches as I thought was represented in the description; more like 8 inches.

I have had a number of titanium scissors, and most of them have poorly built handles which warp, flex or crack under pressue. These are the best we have owned, and they have single handedly replaced every other pair I had.

Great scissors, very happy with them. If you have large hands you won't be able to wear gloves and use these as the hand holds aren't quite big enough for that, and even without gloves me above average size hands don't feel great, but that's my only minor knock. When you consider that these are 11 bucks and cut as well as 90 dollar pairs you really can't go wrong. They aren't serrated so it's going to be a bit more difficult to chop up Kevlar, but I've never used a pair of scissors that slices through carbon so effortlessly (although I've only had minor exposure to high end composite shears). Given the price it's impossible to go wrong.
