SHOCKINGLY AMAZING!!! It revolutionized our foyer closet, restored my sanity & lowered my stress levels. Each little slot can hold my size 10, 3 inch heels!! Check out our extra space in this before & after photo. Tips: Put shorter shoes/items in the top slots otherwise they'll hit the hanger rod & stop it from spinning round & round. Put heavier shoes (boots/danskos, etc) elsewhere as there's only so much weight it & the closet rod can support. This also helped me a) find cool stuff our closet swallowed up long ago & b) donate newly found, unwanted stuff. Aaahhhhhhh, I can breathe!!

Let me start off by saying, I'd give this 5-stars if it could fit any shoes other than my really small sneakers.
I wear a size 12, and hiking shoes/dress shoes will not fit into these pockets.
This can only lead me to believe that this thing wasn't intended to be marketed to MEN, and now I must lower my head in shame, because apparently men are not supposed to want closet organizers. What's wrong with me and my organizing OCD?!

All kidding aside, I am storing a bunch of handhelds(DS, DSi, 3DS) inside the pockets(It's so perfect for that), as well as chargers, cords, my cameras external flash, etc.
The 5 bigger storage compartments are being used for my bigger/nicer shoes, and maybe undershirts/socks soon. This thing is kind of leaning lopsided right now; you need to make sure you distribute weight evenly on it. This is tough for me, since I don't own very many shoes, and dont know what else to put in it that's heavy...Perhaps I'll load it up with a bunch of deodorant and cologne, and all of my camera gear(it's going to be perfect for that!)

I got this for $15 at Walmart. I saw Bed Bath & Beyond charges $30...so for this cheaper price, you know you're getting something decent; this thing is pretty sturdy, and spins easily. Another con would be that it's pretty massive and needs a lot of room to spin, but it still technically saves up space by reducing clutter.
If you don't want to dish out money for a bunch of nice shelves(or in my case, I cant in my rented home), this is probably the best storage solution I've seen.

I didn't exactly buy this for it's intended purpose. I am putting yarn skeins in the shoe holes and fabric on the shelves. It's slightly bigger than I thought, and I have a similar hanging shelf system that's square, and this takes up slightly more room, but seems to have so much more space.

The hook is metal and spins so you can rotate the whole thing. The only thing I don't like is that the inner shelves don't have anything hard in them, so they kinda sag.

I eventually did overload it, and it broke. But I must have 45 pairs of shoes in there, including heavy clogs. What I usually do it is switch the shoes out for Winter shoes, then summer shoes. This year, the weather keeps flipping between cold and hot so both seasons got shoved in there. My bad. It makes it so easy to grab the shoes I wear every day. Who wants to open shoe boxes for every day life? And there just not extra bedroom in my house to turn into one big closet with some rotating shoe holder. There's no other product like it. And it does spin easily. I would pay alot more for it, and I really put it through excruciating paces, so after 6 years I am ordering it again. A very happy customer. And I'll not stuff it like I did.

I have very limited storage space in my apartment and as a result, my shoes were in a giant heap on my closet floor. This neatly organized all of my shoes so my closet looks much better.

Each side pocket fits one shoe (we the exception of flip flops, which I can fit a complete pair in one pocket) and there are 40 side pockets in all. With the center storage spaces fitting 2-3 pairs of flats each, I fit a little over 25 pairs of shoes on this, with room for all of my belts as well.

That being said (only reasons this didn't get 5 stars):
- my feet are very small (women's size 5-6), and I doubt that shoes much bigger than mine would fit in the side pockets very well
- this is much longer than I expected it to be, so I had to rearrange the stuff on the floor of my closet to make room for it to hang down completely
- you need to be careful to balance the weight so it doesn't lean to one side. Not really an issue, but worth mentioning

Overall a great purchase at a great price!

This product wasn't meant to hold adult shoes. I read the reviews and most people liked it and the only thing I really saw was one guy with size 14 shoes say it wouldn't hold his shoes. Well my wife has size 7 shoes and I wear a size 10 and they won't fit any of our shoes. Our baby's tiny shoes barely fit. We were both super disappointed and returned it instantly. I think for an organizer it would be fine but not for shoes like you are lead to believe. The picture shows a size 1 BABY shoe. Two baby shoes won't even fit in a pocket. Kind of ridiculous.
