This Shift knob is very heavy.. compared to my original one, there is no contest. Feels very good in the hand and so far even on hundred degree days here, it hasn't been too hot to the touch. Its smaller than I imagined and comes to more of a point than the picture shows. Also the stitching is more of a silver than a true white. But all in all I love it. Shifting doesn't seem too noticeably better but engagement is better.. you really feel the weight of the knob when you go into neutral, if you're like me, and move it back and forth to confirm in neutral. It seems to float between sides if you just give it a nudge in one direction. I got it on sale for $38.50 and free shipping and it is every bit worth that cost and then some.. I would be tempted to pay the full amount which I have heard is around $70. The nylon plugs used for installing is WAY better than any of the universal knobs I've seen. (think walmart or autozone). once you thread it on and feel it get real tight it never moves. almost like the factory threaded one that came with the car! All in all Excellent purchase.

This shift knob has a nice weight. Feels very solid. The top of the knob is a bit more pointy than what the picture shows. I have small hands and I think the grip is perfect. One thing I don't like is that the white stitching on the knob is very rough. It took awhile to get my hands use to holding this because the stitching would bother my hands.

Installation was a cinch even though the instructions were in Japanese. The shifter fit *very* tightly and I rotated it into position to where it now seems impossible to turn. I don't think it will ever rotate accidentally. Looks fantastic and feels great; fantastic upgrade from the worn and torn oem knob in my 99 Maxima. Hopefully it lasts as long as the original! Hope the car does too...

This is a frwat shifter. Heavy and feels nice. I deducted 1 star due to just mine coming with missing insert to fit my shifter. Luckily the one that it came with was the smaller diameter one. So just drilled the hole bigger till it fit. A trick that i used for shift boot, for those those has one that wont stay up. Cut a small piece of hose, i just used a small high pressure hose and it held the boot up to the shifter. Looks great.

Nice fit in the hand and heavy, which is what you usually want. The included adapters should fit on most stick arrangements. Note that the length may differ from stock so you may want and/or need a trim piece to go under or over the boot for appearance reasons.

Nice weight to this and has a solid natural grip while shifting. The instructions are laughable and it can be overwhelming. Looks more like blueprints to build a robot than a how-to for installing a universal shift knob.

The actual install is quite simple:
Just note which thread works for your car, insert into shifter than screw shifter on. You'll notice there is a space included which I did not need so just stored that piece away.

Some people say "it's pointier than the picture". The picture is very accurate, it's not really pointy or anything.
