My 19+ year old cat is supposed to eat a kidney or gastrointestinal food as she has kidney disease and GI cancer. Well ... she won't touch those. So to keep her around we feed her this. This is her favorite cat food unless she has the option of human food which wins her over no matter what. Sometimes she will try one or two of the other flavors for variety. A few treats on top helps get her face in there to eat when she's reluctant. Sometimes I might dab a teeny bit of the gravy on her lip to get her a taste for it. She used to just lick up all the gravy and not touch the chunks but now we stir it a few times as she eats and she gets some of the chunks. We get the little cans because she won't eat any type of cold cat food. Cold human food...no problem there.

Thanks for your post. We're sorry to hear your kitty has kidney and GI cancer. We have recently come out with some chunks and gravy forms (Stews) in several of our therapeutic foods, including the ones for kidney and GI. You might discuss these as an option with your veterinarian.

I just have to wonder why the last three orders I've received are made up of quite a few dented cans. Once I even had a can with nothing in it (it was sealed)(and I have to say that Amazon was FANTASTIC about giving me a partial credit for it). May switch my subscription to another type of food if this carries on.
