This product restored my sanity. My dog recently blew out a disc in her bag and became paralyzed in her hind legs. She has always been very active and is never more than a foot from my side. Because I have my own disability, I was unable to lift her to carry her where I went, so she spent the day howling and sitting in her own urine until I could change her. From the moment the bag arrived, she was able to follow me all over the house and to lie down when she was tired. I put a couple of small towels or an underpad in the body of the bag to absorb urine as needed. The bag washes perfectly in the machine, and I hang it in the laundry room to air dry. It never smells of urine, dries overnight and makes my life and hers sooo much easier. I bought two more so that she would never be without a clean bag. We use it in conjunction with her new K-9 cart doggie wheelchair. Only one recommendation to make: the zipper needs a plaque to avoid accidentally zipping fur into the zipper. Also a button or snap at the top of the zipper would help to secure the top so that zipping is easier to accomplish.

I bought this for my paraylzed dachshund and it does not work. She cannot scoot in it. I bought it to change it around for her, so she would not always have to be in her wheelchair. She is very strong and her front legs she uses for everything, yet she cannot even move around in it., plus you cannot return it. Anyone wants mine, they can have it. She only used it once. It is a size medium. I recommend you do not purchase it.

This drag bag does all it says and is easy to use. There are some downfalls that I need to figure out how to correct. 1. At first my dog (paralyzed in the back legs) hated it but did get used to wearing it. 2. It always smells like urine and my dog had to be changed out of the bag quite often so as not to sit in urine (he tends to dribble ALOT). 3. I didn't want to put it int he dryer and it took forever to dry it seemed.

I purchased a couple of these bags and my dog took to them right away. Andy has full run of the house and the drag bags protect his skin while he romps around with our 3 other dogs. He has an active and happy life, mostly because he is mobile thanks to this product. Highest recommendation!

This product is the best thing for my puppy. She is 3 and fell off of the back of the couch and had surgery on her back because of two disks swelled up and pinched the spinal cord and lost her hind legs. It's been 6 weeks and she is starting to stand by herself but still needs this bag. What a lifesaver for her legs, knees, and her little feet. She sleeps with this on and does NOT go to the bathroom in it. She waits until I take it off then goes. But if she ever did, it is pretty easy to clean!!! I clean it twice a day, once in the morning and once before we go to bed. It takes 5 minutes to clean!! The bag stays on no matter what she does. Awesome product!! AND for the customers who state about their dogs going to the bathroom in it, YOU have to check it from time to time. Also, don't you smell the poop? My puppy goes poop everytime she eats her dinner and I compress her bladder every 6-8 hours. I have NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!!

Of course you have to use a diaper for incontinent pets! Duh. But the drag bag keeps my Pug from slithering out of the diaper when he scoots around. It does get hot. Perhaps a better vented fabric?

I purchased 2 bags in this order (number 4 and 5 for me in total).
One bag is great and met my expectations.
The bag seems comfortable for the dog. It protects the skin, my two doxies go into their bags without hesitation at all. The new mesh covering makes it breathable so the dog doesn't overheat. The size seems perfect for my 9 pound and 12 pound dogs.

I am giving 4 stars to this review because the second bag has a sticky zipper. I worry that it won't last long because I have to tug so hard. The return policy isn't the best so hopefully I am wrong.

It will depend upon the dog as to whether or not they like this. It worked OK for my dog in the early days of his illness. However, as he aged, he became incontinent and the bag alone was a bit of a problem but it did protect his bottom. On the carpet, he scooted nicely. On the wood floor, not so much.
