this is a great product, offers lots of room to dry your clothes & shoes. sturdy, stable and will not collapse on itself even when a naughty cat jumps up on it. this folds down quite thin & can be tucked away just about anywhere.

Pros: lots of space when in use & a space saver when not in use

Cons: doesn't fold the laundry for you

We do cloth diapers (prefolds and covers) and wanted a rack, both to save a little $$ and to let the sun bleach out stains.
This rack does the job. It's big enough to hold 2-3 days worth of prefolds, anywhere from 20-24 prefolds, plus covers (see uploaded pictures for a visual!).
It is very sturdy and doesn't tip over BUT be careful not to bump the supports that hold up the "wings"! They don't lock into place and if you hit one at the right angle, it collapses that side. This is why I didn't give it 5 stars.
I love how it folds down so compactly and is light enough to carry in one hand down a flight of stairs and outside while toting a basket of wet diapers in the other. It's a great drying rack!

This is the first larger drying rack I've owned. I own an accordian wooden kind but I wanted something bigger. I like the size of it and really like that it has the shoe holders (that sold me on it). This has only been used inside and today when I opened it I saw a little rust on the edge where I would put my clothes so that's not impressive. I suppose when the weather gets warm again I can spray some spray paint to combat any rust. Not the best quality and it's a little clumsy to spread it out but it works and I'm sure I'll be able to use it for many years because I'll treat it gently but if I were a serious air dryer then I would spend the money on a better version or a larger wooden rack.

The metal bars at not stainless steel and the paint chips away incredibly easy.
Cloths get stained by rusted bars from day one of use.
Do not buy this. The producer used cheap materials that compromised the utility of the product.

How can you use a drying rack that is rusty and stained?
I tried cleaning it thinking that would help but it is stained. Red rusty powder all over the box and stained on the drying rack. This was mentioned by other reviewers who tried to purchase the same item multiple times. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I so far have used the rack 4 times and I can certainly foresee the product lasting years. I've had racks before but this one has a strong sturdy feel to it. The top has a total of 17 bars to hang clothes on and I tend to hang jeans and towels in the middle as I tend to hang the lighter clothes on the outer bars. It works out that my clothes are extremely dry by the end of the day.

Pros: Well made
Bars will not chip and come off onto clothes
Easily folds up and can be stored away

Cons:
My only complaint would be that second tier rack doesn't have bars but is a removable mesh netting. Although this may prove to be beneficial for others, for myself more bars would allow me to hang more socks and what not.

Conclusion: Choose this rack, great build quality and you'll truly save on your electricity bill.

After having purchased every conceivable model of drying rack available at my local retailers, I decided to buckle down and buy a more expensive one online.

I have terrible luck with drying racks - I'm not sure what it is, but wooden ones always end up warped and metal ones end up being unstable and collapsing, or having parts that don't fit properly. This rack has none of these problems.

The design is perfect: the base is stable, and the gullwings-with-supports mean that there are no fiddly hooks to slide loose and collapse but the wings are supported enough that they don't dump all your clothes on the floor. The mesh platform underneath the supports is a nice bonus as well. Having been continuously frustrated and disappointed by my drying racks, this was a welcome change.

There is one caveat to this recommendation: This rack is BIG, and doesn't fold down as small as cheaper racks do, so beware. It's still fairly thin when collapsed, but it is wide, meaning I can't store it on top of the shelves in my closet as I used to.
