I got this going towards the end of summer and did not like it all but I was also having a moisture balance problem in general so it probably wasn't this product that was making my hair feel rough, it was the shampoo by another brand. Anyways, I used the product again after discontinuing that shampoo and my hair feels so smooth with this conditioner in it. As soon as I put it on my hair absorbs it. When I rinse it out, my hair feels soft and silky although my hair is not chemically processed and is kinky-coarse. It is also high porosity so getting my moisture in on wash day is very important before I close my cuticle. This particular Burt's Bees conditioner helps a ton. Th smell is also nice to me. It is not fruity, which I detest, and it's not too perfumey, which can bother my lungs. I find some products that are much less natural to have me wheezing and leaning at one whiff.

This conditioner smells absolutely fantastic but I ended up giving it away as it was not very moisturizing. It left my hair dry and frizzy and difficult to manage. Too bad because I wanted to like it!

BURT'S BEES MORE MOISTURE CONDITIONER

Summary -
I decided to try out another conditioner, just to see if I could get similiar results to the conditioner plus additives I am currently using. After three days of use, ths conditioner has mixed results for my cottony curly hair type, but could be fantastic for spongy curly hair types. If you have a wiry curly har type, you may want to stay away from this product.

Review -
Now I have no idea what Baobab is, but I suspect that is the dominant scent of the conditioner. Since it lacks all of the harmful chemicals, such as sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, etc., it wouldn't be damaging to my curly tresses.

The conditioner is lightweight and absorbs really well into my hair. It was clear that there was not enough glide for easy detangling (with either fingers, a comb, or a denman brush)

I used it as a leave in, and my hair was soft and shiny afterwards. There was very little drip since it absorbed well into my hair.
However, even after using a smoothing technique, I can't say my curls dried with the definition I am used to. Since the conditioner is lightweight, I did have a ton of volume (for better or worse), but my cuticles were not sealed (can you say more volume by the evening)

Recommendation -
Overall, I think the conditioner would work out well for the spongy hair types. Anyone with cottony or wiry hair types for water absorbtion and retention would have difficulty getting this product to be effective on its own.

This has to be the worst rip off in conditioners I have ever bought.I did not mind the price since this is a respected brand. The bottle is small so I assumed it was highly concentrated. Wrong! You have to use a ton of this, I am talking 1/3 of a cup and it does not spread easily so you have to dab it on in sections. I have never encountered anything with this viscosity before. As a conditioner, it is smack-dab in the middle of the average category. The only good thing I can say about this is the smell. Do not waste your money. (My review of the shampoo will be the same, both are terrible).

I am a mild Burt's Bees fan. I read about the shampoo that goes with this conditioner in a magazine. I already have a shampoo that I love, but was not crazy about my current conditioner, so I thought I'd give this one a try. I'm glad I did because I love this conditioner! My hair is soft and shiny. It also has a nice earthy smell. Could not ask for more. This one's a keeper.

Not good. I wanted a conditioner without excessive chemicals (Sulfate free/paraben free) under $10/bottle. I like Burt's Bees body wash, lotion and shampoo, but the conditioner is HORRIBLE. If you have curly/easily tangled hair, skip this one. It doesn't work. I went with OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner. That shampoo and conditioner is fantastic for dry/curly hair and is also sulfate free/paraben free and under $10.

Not my favorite natural conditioner. It doesn't soften as well as other organic brands. I prefer yes to carrots or yes to cucumbers, it leaves my hair softer. This feels more like a lotion, you know how most conditioners feel a little slippery when you rinse it out, this one is kinda thick and... Not as satisfying.
