Excellent for painting gunsights.

This testors Acrylic Pot Set was exactly what I was looking for to paint the sights on several guns. I had looked at higher priced sets but reviews were mediocre and some were outrageously expensive...especially considering that painting gunsights requires only a tiny amount of paint. I did no special preparation and the paint adhered easily and dried quickly.

On one pistol I filled the white dot sights with fluorescent green on the back sight and fluorescent pink on the front sight, making for a substantilly sharper sight picture.

On two others, I painted the entire back side of the rear sight and the ramp on the front sight, again achieving a much clearer sight picture.

On the second two guns I had to put two coats on to get the full brilliance of the paint. I recommend using a good quality artist brush because the brush included in the kit is too broad and virtually worthless for the purpose I used the paint for.

This is excellent and inexpensive paint for shooters and the kit contains enough paint to paint the sights on several hundred guns. It will probably dry up before I use it all. Great product at a reasonable cost.

but the difference is easy to see in the dark

Mixed with Ultra Green V10 for night sights on my guns. It took a full day of mixing, applying and drying (mostly because I would get involved in other things), but the difference is easy to see in the dark. Used pink/green and orange/combos and both are easy to differentiate quickly at night.

Purchased this to ink some nuke dice I recently purchased. 6 small jars of paint for less than $6 is great and the paint brush and plastic cement are a welcome addition. Worked incredibly well on my dice, I would gladly purchase this product again.

Got this for the front sight of my Glock 17 in order to get easier, faster front sight acquisition. This paint fits the bill. I used a toothpick, dipped it in the paint and then dabbed it on the front sight. It worked famously. Highly recommend and it is priced right and on prime.
