I installed on 2008 Cadillac DTS. Took 20mins and the wires were so thin that I could unclip my fog light harness place the wires in it and clip it back together. I didn't have to cut any wires or splice anything. they aren't to bright during the day, but they can't be beat and look great.My car turns even more heads then before :) They have a blue tint to them which match my xenon Head lights at night. Anyway for that price (under $15 with free shipping is what I paid) it can't be beat.I ordered others and the quality is the best I've bought so far.I only gave 4 stars because I've only used them for a couple weeks. I'll update later if I remember and have time. Also,the 3m tape is very strong and they have red & black leads at each end. I suggested cleaning application area with rubbing alcohol to remove any wax, etc so lights stay in place for good. Another thing that I didn't know when ordering was that the led lights are positioned so the light comes out the side not the front or face which worked out well for me.I mounted them above my fog lights upside down. I have pics I will post.Hope this is helpful !!!

These LED strips are better than any (both price, quality, shipping, and light output) than any I've seen or used, and I have several others in my car, as well as various friends cars. Shipping was super fast, and came properly sealed and ready to go. These strips are actually EXTREMELY thin. Half the width, and height of the other strips I own (see picture). They are 24", or 60cm, or 2 feet, whichever you use and had plenty of LEDs that are very close together that do make the very sexy line of color instead of the single light from each bulb like cheaper strips seem to produce. Very simple to install, I used a Fuse Tap to tap into an unused fuse that turned on with the car and ran the wires through the firewall, into the engine bay and then "daisy-chained" the strips so they both turned on simultaneously. Each strip actually has leads on BOTH sides, so this method was very easy. The only issue I have is the leads are VERY small, and very fragile so wire splitters are encouraged although I did fine with scissors and a little patience. Overall these lights are awesome on my Volvo S40. Great color too! A very stark white with a blue hue similar to a 6000k temperature. Side emitting, these bulbs can be applied flat, but will shine the light out towards the road making hiding these strips a breeze and completely invisible during the day. Would recommend to anyone looking for LED strips for their headlights, don't buy cheap crap from china that takes months to get here, these are brilliant!

I read the reviews of this item and tried to reason my way out of believing all of the bad remarks. Why couldn't I just accept reality? So in spite of all the bad reviews I placed an order. and I got what every negative reviewer told me I would get: one string of the lights worked for 3 days. 3 DAYS!! the other wouldn't stick because the double sided tape was so generic that It wouldn't stay on the light strip, or on the car. so I went to put new tape on (at my own expense) guess what.. half of the remaining light string went out. so one was dead in 3 days and the other was only half working. The price and the negative reviews said "DONT BUY IT!" but trying to save a penny got the best of me. Lesson learned.

Quality and brightness is great! sticks well to any smooth surface. Worked perfectly with the length of my eclipse headlights and being 24 inches each I only had to use one of the strips for both sides. Just had to cut the strip in half. And wires being on both ends of the strips made it perfect for cutting into 2 pieces and using both.

At 1st i was very happy with these lights, they look really nice on my car (headlights) but after 1 month of use, a couple of lights went out on one of the strips, not good!! so I sent the seller an email to see if they would be nice enough to send me a replacement strip, but I never heard from them.... poor customer service!

I installed these strips around the headlights on my Goldwing. There are wire leads at both ends of these so they are easy to connect to a power source. My only complaint is that the wires are so thin that even the smallest hole on my wire stripper was too big for these wires. If you are careful they can be stripped and attached. These strips are directional, they only shine out one way. If you look at the strip you will see pictures of scissors every few inches, the strips can be cut at any of these spots, the lights shine in the direction the handles of the scissors are pointing, the photos above show this but it is not in the directions, which there aren't any of. The adhesive is 3M and appears to be very strong, I cleaned the headlights with alcohol swabs before applying these and they stuck very well. These look great on my bike, So far I am very happy with them. I don't know about others experiences with these but they are very bright and easily seen in daylight. I can't speak to their longevity at this time as I have only had them installed for a couple of days.

I love these lights. I added them to the front of my Jeep around the headlight covers. They look great. Later I will upgrade to a led strip where the lights are facing out to the side of the strip, not up from the strip.
