This cage was very easy to put together, was set up in a manner of minutes. The biggest problem is that there is no way of knowing how to get the screen to properly hang over the tubing. It would be nice to have the company attach some labels to the screen showing what is front and back or what is center. As it is I had to cut the screen to fit(which I am sure doesnt need to be done). Also, the stakes that come with the cage are too small to hold the cage in place for an area that has high winds like where I live, or for ground that is soft. I had to purchase tent stakes to keep the cage from blowing away. This should also be a consideration of the company as it is not known what kind of conditions the cage will be used in. Not every part of the country has a mild climate. Once the screen was cut and the stakes I bought were used the cage did its job. There have been no problems with birds or critters.

well lets start out by saying, DONT BUY THIS! If I could give it 0 stars I would.
it came in the mail today, box was all tore apart. granted it was probably from fed ex. either way It started out bad.
so I open the package to find directions that look like a 2 year old wrote. the pieces were a little marred up.
so I take my time and look at this diagram on how to assemble it properly.....as im putting piece by piece together, I hear a snap.
I look over and one of the plastic connectors cracked!, so I wrapped some tape around just to give it a little extra support, ok so im almost done with putting the metal tubes in theses fragile plastic pieces, when I insert the last tube in the end...and SNAP! ANOTHER piece broke!

im looking at this thing in disbelief, because I barely used any pressure to push the ends together, yet they still broke.
at this point im fed up, so I un ravel the netting.....im not kidding you this thing is literally stretched end to end about 20 ft long maybe longer...... so I start to drape it over the cage frame......come to find out...the net is uneven. so I have all kinds of extra netting on one side.

I put this Frankenstein product together only to realize I bought the worst thing ever.
please if you are looking for a fruit cage or a plant protector. go somewhere else.
either that or build your own.
I am disgusted with my purchase and have nothing good to say about this product other than if your a fisher man....you have 20 ft of net to use once you toss this in the trash.
DO NOT BUY!

Bought this to keep the birds away from my wife's blueberry bushes. It went together ok - the netting is a bit difficult to attach evenly. Once placed over the bushes it allows plenty of access for the bees to pollinate the plants, but keeps the birds away - my wife loved it and said it was nice and light when moving to access the plants.

I think I am only giving it two stars because the idea is good but the execution is not. It is hard to access the inside because you have to un-stake the netting and then re-stake it. It is not practical.

This fruit cage was exactly what I expected. It works great for my needs, which was mostly to keep my cats out. I plan to get more of them for next years plantings. I have only had problems with it not staying together at the connections on the top, which I think I could solve easily with a bit more elbow grease.
