I looked all over the internet for Lutein-Zeaxanthin without containing the Titanium Oxide or Dioxide class 2B carcinogen and at a decent price This one is the best for the purity/quantity/price Only Best Naturals (this one), Jarrow Formulas, & Swanson Synergistic -all 20mgLutein/1mg Zeaxanthin–have no contaminants. Also Natures Bounty 40mgLutein/1.6mg Zea, & Natures Bounty 20mgLutein/0.8mgZea, for higher prices There are none with higher amounts of Zeaxanthin that do not contain the Titanium 02. For instance, the following brands have higher zeaxanthin amounts but have the unwanted contaminants and the Class 2B carcinogen: .EyePromise, iCaps, Finest Nutrition, Finest Naturals, Simply Right, Spring Valley, TruNature, Webber Naturals, to name a few. More than 1 mg Zeaxanthin is hardly necessary, and is actually quite a bit for the body.

I have been a customer of Amazon for many years and I have purchased many items. This is the first time that I purchased a container of a vitamin product that was not sealed. I am accustomed to items of this sort to be factory sealed.

Even cheap aspirins and other products that have capsules or tablets have the container sealed. This product came with the top loosely attached.

I feel uncomfortable about consuming a product that was not properly sealed.

Saying it differently, I will not use this product and therefore I paid for a useless item that should have come in a sealed container but did not. Fortunately, Amazon does not usually sell items in this manner. Very disappointed!

Since buying this I have come to realize that it is not high enough in zeaxanthin but at least it has some. I will use this up and then change brands to one that contains 4 mg of zeaxanthin and another needed item. At least this contains 20 mg of lutein which is reallly the least amount you should take.
