Recently, my vet gave me this for my 2 cats, and with the amount they gave, and for how long they'd need to be on it (forever), I thought it would be cheaper if I could buy it on my own. I asked my questions on here, and ordered. I am very happy that this is the same pill, in color it matches identical, it's a brownish/purplish color. I cut them in 4's just like the vet did, and I crush 1/4 in each of their dishes and mix with a little bit of water, and then add their 'supper' wet food. I think one of them really enjoys it in his food, the other doesn't care, he just loves food.

I have noticed a change in both of them, since using this regularly, I wasn't before because the prescription was going to run out and I didn't want to have to buy more from them... but since I got this container, I cut 15 tablets and got a months worth of pills, and I have plenty more to go. So now I am helping my boys, feel better, and saving money too!

These were recommended by our vet for our 12 1/2 year old Lab who recently starting having chronic UTIs. She seems to like them - takes them easily. She has only been on them for about 15 days. I will continue to update this review as time passes to note how well they are working for her.

My dog still likes these pills - they are the only ones she will take without me having to hide them in a treat pocket. As far as how well they work - I'd like to say they do, but I'm not 100% sure they do. We continue to use them as our vet recommends them but our dog recently started having crystals in her urine again. It's been a longer period of time since the last time she had anything wrong so I think it helped there. I'll continue to use these and will continue to order from Amazon as they are about 1/2 the price my vet charges.

My vet charges more for items you can buy from places such as Amazon. This is one my female was one for a 30 day treatment for possible urinary inflammation. I decided to buy another 30 day treatment in case her next test showed her levels still there and another treatment for it is being prescribed again. For my dog, she the flavor must be good for a dog's taste buds for she chews them up.
