My roommates and I (four guys in total) have been going through a lot of soap in the main bathroom of our house. That's a good problem! So, I decided to try out one of these units. We're three days in and so far it's working great! It looks fine, seems to be an unobtrusive size, even for a residential bathroom, and it was easy to install. I just used some Command Medium Picture-Hanging Strips, 6-Strip to attach it to the wall, instead of the double-sided tape it comes with. I just didn't want to damage the wall in case I wanted to remove it later. Anyway, it's working great and everyone likes it!

This would be good for commercial use only. I bought this for our house/bathroom. Although the dimensions are listed correctly, it just seemed much bigger in person and took up too much space on the wall. The unit itself along with something like 6 large batteries is very heavy - you must mount this on a 2x4 stud. It comes with plastic anchors and double-sided tape to attach to drywall - that will not work, it's so heavy!

For commercial use in a school, daycare, restaurant, this will be fine. For household use, an automatic dispenser will help with germs if you can handle it's "public bathroom" look and size. I bought a GOJO slim dispenser to see which one would work. I like the slim dispenser better, even though the colors are the same, the slim one is taller and thinner from the side, uses the same soap refill size and takes up less visual space. The slim GOJO has the little tab you press on the bottom and soap comes out, it's not a battery-operated automatic one. It works for our family bathroom just fine.

I use this in my restroom at my business and I love it. It's primarily used by me and my employee but customers also use it occasionally. I absolutely love the dispenser. It's very professional looking. Very easy to install. The sticky backing is incredibly strong. Hopefully it saves me money in the long haul. Amazon's price is great as well.

I ordered two of these and one of them worked right away. The second one didn't--- it was giving a blinking red light so I assumed it was a dead battery (they come with batteries). I bought new batteries and put them in and it still didn't work. I was going to return it the next day. Later that night, I read a manual online-- they do not give you instructions in the box--- that said you have to wait a full day for it to work, which is strange because I've owned 3 of these in the past and all of them worked right away except this one. It also did not say why you had to wait 24 hours. That's just odd to me.

Anyway, the next day I was taking the Gojo off the wall to return it and it started to miraculously work. I have no idea why. It still works to this day and it's been a month. Mystery to me!

I purchased three of these for my new office build out and one just did not work at all which was frustrating. Since I was so busy with the build out of my new office I just never returned the bad one. The other two work fine. The other issue I had was not all were the same as far as the inside mechanics the one that did not work was different from the battery type to the mechanical part inside.
