My son is allergic to GMO corn, wheat (gluten) and dairy (casein). Trying to find inexpensive travel foods is a huge challenge. For my other boys we go with Top Ramen when we need easy foods. At the store these cost $1.99 or more, so when we found these on line in bulk at about $.80 a package we were very excited!

He can only eat two of the flavors, but this is his favorite. This is a great product, a little small for the price compared to Top Ramen at $.10-.25 a package, but compared to a lot of allergen free foods, $.80 (depending on the current price) a package is a great price. Great flavor (I've tried one so I know what he's eating.) Easy to make, easy to take with you. The ingredient list is decent too for a convenience food.

I would and do recommend this to people with or without allergies and now that I know the great price you can get here, I'll recommend people get it from here instead.

Of course I bought this based on positive reviews. This was bland to me. I felt the oil packet was unnecessary and didn't add anything to the noodles. I tried one with it and one without. I didn't taste much of a difference. Maybe my taste buds are not as receptive as other people. I was thinking this would be a wonderful flavor of garlic and vegetables. This was disappointing.

Nothing wrong with the product, it's easy to cook and the taste is what I would call neutral flavor: it's not bad, just not exciting or notable. Maybe it needs more salt...really the ramen soups by various manufacturers and the Japanese soups are much more interesting and have flavor you look forward too. It wasn't at all filling either like a bowl of ramen tends to be. (I wish we could get real ramen soups in the U.S. though I just bought some of those fresh-looking packaged ones to try.)

I love these little soups. They cook up fast and are only 170 calories. This flavor is pretty salty, others are less so. I follow the cooking instructions exactly to get the best result. I don't like the soup as much when the noodles are very soft, or overcooked. Three minutes and take it off the heat and into a bowl for al dente perfection. I also like to use these noodles in a stir fry. I cook the noodles in plain water and then add them and the packet to steamed or sauteed veggies and it is pretty phenomenal. The 72 pack is a lot, but it drives the price way down. They are $1.29 at my local grocery store here in Alaska.

These little noodle packs are quick, that's about all I can say for them. They don't taste like garlic, vegetable, or even rice.

Sure, you could add things that actually taste good to them but the packets mask that. Leave out the packets and you might as well buy ordinary rice noodles.

Good Ramen noodle substitute, but this price is very inflated. You can get these at Walmarts for under a buck a piece. I think I saw them at Meijer as well, for half the price, as well.Big Lots has them too. Never spend more than a little over a buck. Very small package and cheap to make. You can even go to the grocery store and buy a box of these noodles and add your own broth and flavorings for super cheap.
