I had a deadbolt hole that was cut badly, and the mechanisms of the lock could be seen because the cut was too big. This did the trick. These are relatively easy to install, however I recommend having a second person to hold everything in place, because the rings will slide down and move if you don't hold pressure on them exactly where you want them to be when putting the deadbolt back together. I will definitely order these again if I have an awkward sized hole.
