I ordered the pink hat in a size small for my toy Shih Tzu. If you measure from ear to ear, going across the forehead, the fit should be perfect. My furball is 9.5 lbs and the small is perfect on her. Item was shipped very quickly and appears to be well made/ durable. Very pleased.

My dog went blind as a result of diabetes. When she wore the visor it kept her from bumping into things. It was just long enough to act as a bumper guard. I would recommend it as it fit well on her little head and around her ears.

My dog has a small head, and this is the first hat that I have found that fits her. The part touching the top of the head is mostly padding and is very light-weight. The strap works well to keep the hat in place. Unfortunately, my dog can still take if off by herself.

Having read another review about the fit not working so well for big heads, I was a little worried that it would not work for my pit bull. The visor arrived on time and in perfect condition. I immediately tried it on her and it fit great but as the other reviewer stated the bottom strap left the scratchy part of the Velcro exposed and in contact with her neck. I fixed this by applying the soft part of a Velcro strip that I had here at home (any soft material would likely work such as fleece, etc.) to the exposed scratchy Velcro. It was simple fix and is working great! The sizing guide ensured that the hat fits great (the review shows I purchased a small but I actually got a large ~ she is over 70 lbs), it stays on and looks so cute!!
