I really liked the quality of this shoe rack. The cool thing about this one is that if you buy more than one you can stack them with the holes on the unit. This is handy if you want to expand out. I also liked the varnish and the overall sturdiness of this shoe rack. I can see however that you may need more than one if you have a larger family. We put this item at the back door so we could organize our chaotic shoe situation and it fits 6 pairs of adult shoes and 4 pairs of kids shoes comfortably. The price point is semi on the high side for what you get, but its not so unreasonable that you should not consider a purchase.

Nice shoe rack! Attractive & sturdy. Easy to assemble. Main complaint- they do not include wood plugs to cover the screw holes. I went to the local hardware store and purchased plugs and a wood stain pen and glued the plugs in myself and it makes the rack look complete. I also wish it were a few inches wider: it fits 3 pairs of my husband's athletic shoes, with a few inches left. It would be nice if it fit 4 full pairs on one shelf. We ordered a 2 level rack to place on top of this one (there are holes in top and peg legs for stacking). Because the legs are made for stacking, I would also recommend putting felt pads on the bottom of them if the rack is going to sit on a surface that can be scratched. Overall very nice, for a good price1

It's a good size, looks nice from a distance, and holds several pairs of shoes. But on the down side, the two lower shelves are so close together that it's difficult to insert even tennis shoes (much less ankle boots or anything higher), so it's not as convenient to put away shoes as I'd hoped.
Putting it together wasn't too difficult, but one of the wood corners (where a pre-drilled hole was) came out of the box already split. I superglued it and so far it's still holding up. Overall the quality is pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for.

This rack was easy to put together, and it looks good. I'm pleased with the quality; it's bamboo, so the wood looks nice, and the construction is sturdy and solid. The shelves are slotted, so they don't collect a bunch of dirt and debris. You could buy multiple units and stack them if you wanted.

My only complaint, and the reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5, is that the bottom two shelves are really tight, height-wise. They're fine for flat shoes like sandals and low-rise sneakers, but a shoe with any height to it is only going to fit on the top shelf. I keep this by my front door and store my casual, frequently used shoes in it, but I keep my dress shoes and other too-tall shoes in my closet still. It's a shame, because if the lower shelves gave more room, I would totally buy multiples of the rack and stack them to store more shoes.

Apart from that one flaw though, I'm really pleased with this. It looks nice, is solid and durable, and even with the short shelves it holds plenty of my shoes.

This is a shoe rack, that could have been a lot more than what it. I had to return the first one I ordered as it was broken (see pictures). Amazon very quickly and without fuss sent me a new one (I need to return the broken one otherwise I'm charged for both). The second one I received was still broken but not to the extent the first one was and was still completely useable.

It holds approx. 10-12 pairs of shoes depending on how big your shoes are. There is definitely no room on the second or third shelves for anything other than trainers/sandals. Boots/heels will need to go on the top shelf. It is very attractive and looks nice sitting by our back door in the living room. This is definitely ONLY a shoe rack. I've seen some questions asking if it can be sat on...ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! It is strong enough for shoes and that is it. My little boy loves it, he loves playing and rearranging all the shoes on it.

The second one I received (see pictures) was assembled really quickly and easily - 6 screws with an allan key - done. the thing that was "broken" was some of the shoe supports had not been glued in properly and therefore have slightly bowed (see picture) this is a super easy fix with some glue and not worth returning as it is not noticeable and does not render the rack unusable.

Easy to assemble, no splinters, extra screws, fits in my closet perfectly and if I want, I can add a second one on top with the pre-drilled notches. I can fit four pairs of summer shoes on each shelf with them touching each other.

These seemed like a good deal pricewise for the number of shelves. And they had good reviews. I got them today and put them together. They're ok but the bamboo is a bit thin. For example, in screwing the shelves into the sides (into their pre-drilled holes) one out of the 6 caused the wood of the shelf to split. The shelves are still together and, while they're a little wobbly, they'll probably hold my shoes. Hoping they'll do it for a long time with no problems.
