We've been using this since we moved into a house without a good space for a litter box. It actually sits in our living room, which goes to show the level of trust we have in it.

It's an extremely sturdy box, and I have no qualms sitting on it. Neither does the cat, so that works out. It's become our "commune together daily" spot. It's quite roomy inside, and we have a large litter box in there with a rubber mat. There's still room between the box and the wall so that the cat doesn't have her nose shoved into the side, and that gives us a place to stash the deodorizer and shovel.

The box looks natural near our cat tree. Carpeted furniture screams "cat," but with the opening pointed towards the corner it's not at all obvious what it's for. It just looks like a roomy cat condo.

A couple of nits:

The carpeting is only tacked at edges, so it's a little loose on the top and sides. It hasn't caused a problem, but it does ride a little bit above the underlying surface such that if you push it down quickly it'll make a slapping noise. In real life, I have to work to do this, but I'm concerned that means it'll let go sooner than later. On the plus side, there's no nails or staples to sit on. The carpet itself is pretty much cheap-cat-tree quality, though it uses nice big pieces without obvious seams.

The melamine inside is very easy to clean, but does have seams where the panels meet. The cat does occasionally miss (hence the rubber mat, which I highly recommend using), and I'm concerned about pee getting into the seams and soaking into the underlying material. I may caulk them, and think they should have been caulked at the factory.

This litter box enclosure is very well made. Nice heavy construction. Will hold your weight if you want to sit on it. Nice carpet for a cat litter box. I would have liked it better if it wasn't so long. It's about 30" long. I put a litter pan inside and it moves all around. Also, since it's so well made NO light seeps in. Really dark for my cat to walk inside. So, I decided to put a motion activated nightlight on the wall next to it. So. now my cat can see when he goes. I do recommend. Can't tell a litter box is in my living room.

We have an older cat who was severely injured as a kitten before we found him; arthritis has been a problem for him since he was 5 or 6, so we limit his access to the stairways. Our new home is small, particularly the bathrooms where we would normally locate the litter box. This litter box enclosure is ideal and has resolved our dilemma of where to conveniently and discreetly locate the box. And our cat loves being able to climb to the top of the enclosure and watch his world.

This is a great litter box. It looks great and is so much nicer than the plastic ones. And, best of all, it DEFINITELY is a huge improvement odor-wise! We have four cats and I'm going to order a second one to replace another plastic litter box in another room soon!

The build quality on this litter box holder is outstanding but beware of the dimensions. It takes up a fair amount of floor space that is tough to convey from the listed product dimensions. I recommend that prospective purchasers measure the area where they plan to set it up to verify that you will have enough room. I paired mine with a high-walled litter box from Petsmart and still had enough room to store the scoop inside near the entryway. Eventually, I would like to add a flap inside the entryway, although that is ny no means necessary to keep the dust down while the cats do their business.

One of my cats is very picky about where her litter is. I moved into a small apartment and didn't know what I was going to do to keep her litter private. She is perfectly happy. I don't find that they go outside their box. Easy to clean, sturdy, and I don't smell anything! They love the carpet too. I would highly recommend this!

I haven't found anything about this enclosure that was different from the description. I like that it is heavy and sturdy. The cat's basket is on top of the carpeted lid. It fits perfectly under the window where the sun shines in. Bags, spray and scoop fit next to a large litter pan. The Beige color blends in. Smells do not get trapped inside so use a good odor control litter. The lid slides off for easy cleaning of the interior. I did use a litter mat to line the bottom of the box. Measure the area where you plan to keep it. My cat owns it now.

After months of research I narrowed it down to this product. We recently moved to a smaller house with just one bathroom and our two cats no longer had their own loo, so we needed something to hide their poop pot which as all cat owners know can get stinky. This has solved the problem! It's a heavy item, and you can even sit on it without worrying about it. I can't smell the litter and the cats sunbathe on it and to top it off, they use it as a scratching post! All big plus points. I've put an old kitchen mat that they love under the litter box as a litter mat and they love it. The insides are easily cleanable with a simple lysol wipe. The one downside is that the ply wood on the back of the product, inside came with a big crack and given the price, that was a huge disappointment. Upon sending a complaint to the seller about this issue, they asked for pictures of the crack, which I sent. Before I knew it there was a brand new replacement at my doorstep. Very happy with the product and the service.
