Directions
Sort: Begin your laundry day by sorting clothes and linens. Check for items left in pockets (candy wrappers, lunch tickets, coins, etc.) If you come across a stain, use the instructions below.
Select: Next, select the right water temperature. Cold water works best for brights and dark jeans. Use warm water for permanent press clothes. Hot water for whites, colorfast pastels and light prints.
Measure: Finally, add detergent to the machine. For a regular load, fill to the bottom of the cap's ridge. Fill to the top of the ridge for an extra-large or particularly filthy load of clothing.
Have a stain?
Use the flip-top cap to dab detergent directly on the stain when it's still fresh and new. Let set for 3-10 minutes; wash as directed. For really stubborn stains, re-apply the liquid before the garment is dry, then wash again.
Be sure to test for colorfastness on an inside seam.

Mrs Meyers products are not cheap, but they are worth the price both for their lack of dyes and chemicals and for how well they work. Not to mention they all smell incredible. I've ordered cases of their detergent before, but living in a small space can make storage tricky, so instead I ordered this product that boasts you can manage 68 loads from one bottle. I was skeptical when I measured a glorified tablespoon into the detergent dispenser in my washer, but the clothes came out completely clean, smelling great, and a lot softer than after using other store brands. I've also recently learned that using too much soap in your washer can cause problems--mildew build up and such. So far I've done 6 loads--I have a tiny washer--and can barely see that I have even used the product. I will be curious how many weeks/loads I actually do get out of the bottle, but I am already a loyal Mrs. Meyer's fan. On top of all that--I have strange allergies to various ingredients in most detergents, and have had no reaction to this. Usually you have to compromise scent when you have sensitive skin--not so with this product! Highly recommended!

Want clean clothes? Great smelling clothes? Gleaming whites? Stark white dish cloths? This is probably not gonna do it. What this is is a natural alternative to most of the chemical laden laundry detergents featured in commercials and in our everyday grocery stores. I have bought about four bottles of Mrs. Meyers and tried so hard to like it but it just doesn't do a good enough job in our house. Our white t-shirts still have sweat smells in the pits, our towels still have blood stains, and our kitchen clothes still have coffee stains whenever I have used Mrs. Meyer's Laundry Detergent. The smell does not stick around either. This would be great for light everyday laundry especially if you are scent sensitive but for heavy duty washing, look elsewhere. I would even suggest Seventh Generation 2x Liquid as an alternative as it seems to do a great job on some of our laundry when we have bought it. Just be aware of having limited expectations and know that you are doing a good thing for the environment and yourself by buying this, just you may to supplement with something a little stronger for those tough jobs.

I had heard about this product line from a few other people and reviews but never tried it. They were all positive and since I have Prime I thought I would give it a try. The price was right. I love this detergent. It is going to take a lot for me to switch back to tide. Everything I have washed, even down to the dog beds smell great! The clothes are clean and the colors don't fade. I look forward to trying the lavender scent as well. I highly recommend this product.

You only have to use a tiny amount, which was difficult for my family at first, so I just put a tablespoon in a cup beside the bottle. I use this as a cloth diaper detergent. Diapers are the ultimate test of a detergent. Crunchy Clean Diaper Detergent made the diapers smell a little less like poo, Dreft made them smell like scented poo. Mrs Meyers completely takes away the poo smell and adds a little scent to it. Woo Hoo! No Poo!

They really need to improve the packaging for the detergent. The cap is really small, and when you pour the detergent into it, you cannot avoid not spilling it everywhere. To make it worse, the cap doesn't have a large spillage design, so when you put the cap back on, the left over detergent will probably spill out. For a premium product, I wonder why they didn't make this better!

Love the detergent but really don't like the bottle.

Clothes are clean and smell wonderful - not too scented.......just enough.

BUT, the big kicker is the container. I looks great......stylish on your shelf. BUT your hands will be super sticky over time. Not easy to pour or use flip lid. MESSY.

I am purchasing this again but using an old, empty, method detergent pump bottle.

I really love the smell of this product! It cleans well and lasts for a long time. Great stuff - I highly recommend this detergent. I use it with the fabric softener by the same company. I find the scent lasts longer if I line dry my clothes. Especially nice with sweaters - don't forget to use a laundry bag, though! ;-)
