Exactly what I needed

This is the first keyboard cover I have received that actually covers all the letters appropriately. All of the others have been a little off and with the keyboard lights on, it was incredibly frustrating. Sometimes it is a little difficult to type with, but I have found that with all of the other covers I have had as well. I have a dog that sheds like crazy and this definitely helps keep her fur and dust out of my keyboard. It matches the cover I bought for my computer and I absolutely love it. In short, it was definitely a good buy.

perfect but sticky

This cover is actually just slightly duller than in the picture but this doesn't bother me at all. I have the 2012 macbook pro (bought in July 2012) and all the symbols match my keyboard :) the lettering is SLIGHTLY off but it really doesn't bother me at all :)
The only thing I don't like about this is that.... it's not.. smooth like the actual keyboard. I feels "sticky" but not the "there's sugar all over this" kind of sticky. I just wish it was smoother like the cover but I guess it does it's job :) Fits nicely on my keyboard and the only negative is the "sticky" part.

Does the job, true to description

I recently purchased my first MacBook Pro. As with any electronics I buy, I like to consider purchasing some protection as I can be a total klutz and I like I take my electronics wherever I go. I picked this product as it would add some character to my new device, as well as protect it.

What I like:
- it fits perfectly
- I can still see the glow of the keyboard lighting
- it's easy to put on (just plop it on)
- it protects from crumbs and dog hair (I happened to be visiting a friend with dog when I first used installed this!)
- as per packaging description, I can easily take it off and wash it whenever needed.
- it was only $6

If I need to change up the color, I will definitely be considering this brand again.

Found a way to get rid of the "stickiness"

Every single time I open my mac, this color becomes more pleasing to the eye. I've had this for three months and it has saved me a handful of times. Once, I had to open a bottle of medicine for my sister. . . And you know those suckers, . . if you don't close them properly, opening them the next time will be sticky. Well, opening a bottle of Tylenol, it accidentally spilled on my keyboard and this cover was a lifesaver.

There is, however, one con. It is a little bit sticky. Not sticky as in "gross". But sticky as in, you can feel the cover marginally attach itself to your fingers as you type. For these past few months, my screen would have smudges from the cover. And no, it's not the oil from my fingertips. Honestly, I'd freak out before anyone with greasy and grimy fingers would touch my mac.

Although. . I found a solution. Just add a little bit of baby powder and you're good to go! Overall, this metallic color is wonderful.

I like the way it looks and feels, and it fits perfectly. I would have given this 3 stars had it not been for the fact that right out of the box, some of the silicone keys on the cover were bent, and regardless of how many times I have tried to smooth it out...the fold/line just won't go away. I am a little OCD when it comes to imperfections like that, so it annoys me somewhat. However, it just was not worth the trouble of sending it back to request a new one. Other than that, this is a good product and would be great if you can get one that is not damaged or defective!

Looks Great. Feels Great.

After reading a lot of reviews of this product it seemed that most of the negative reviews said the keys are sticky / tacky. I received my keyboard cover and it was in perfect shape and fit like a charm on my MacBook Air 13". And before I wrote this review I took the time to type with it a good bit. I will say that typing does feel different, but for me it's not bad. Personally I really like the feel of the keys; they are almost "rubbery" but not "sticky." And I did noticed that I have to press a little harder (or more deliberately) to type. I type very fast, and when I was testing it out a few times I wouldn't strike a character hard enough so it would skip it. I believe this is something, though, that I'd have to get used to using ANY keyboard cover.

Also, it's important to know that most of the time I have my laptop on a stand and I type with a wireless keyboard. I do not use the laptop keyboard for daily work. I use it mainly for meetings and in the evenings. But it does look GREAT!

Great keyboard cover in beautiful color

I love these keyboard covers. They have saved my laptop from so many spills. This is my third cover on this laptop (in the past year) and it seems to do the job well and fit my MacBook Pro great. I especially like that there is a large transparent area over the caps lock key so that I can tell if the caps lock light is on. My other two keyboard covers only had a very small area so it was hard to check if the caps lock was on so this is nice to be able to tell so well.
