Good set of Lappers. Could use a bit more "grip" from the cups.... I used it on a 4-cycle snow blower engine... it had a bit of a problem with the smaller cups... you have to make sure the valve top and cup are squeaky clean, and pick the proper size... I would imagine it would work better on automotive valves that have bigger and flatter tops

This tool is a great concept but the actual item is meh. My hand were killing me, there needs to be like a gel coating over the wood. Also, the tool kept losing suction. I wasn't able to wear my gloves because I couldn't get the feel.

These are doing just fine. Glad I got the pair instead of a single hand roller, as I needed exactly the small end of the big tips, and the big end of the small tips. Using on valves for a 4.0L V8.

These are garbage. they would barely hold onto the valve and i spent more time cleaing the valve than i did lapping them. a complete pain. They sell the same ones at oreilly.

I bought this set to do the valves on my single cylinder Wisconsin S8-D engine. While trying to grind or lap the valves, the suction cups on these tools would not stay on. I made sure everything was clean and I could not keep them from slipping off. I ended up make them work but it took much longer as I had to push down real hard and go at a slower pace. They are made of plastic and rubber.
