I purchased these stands to support my Energy Take Classic 5.1 speakers. The product took about 2 weeks to arrive. It was well packaged and in excellent condition when delivered.

The stand was easy to put together with just a few screws and clear directions. The bracket fits the Energy Take 5.1 speaker ports perfectly; however, there is a slight gap between the bottom of the speakers and the bracket it sits on. To create a better fit, I used some thin felt stick-on pads to take up the space. They worked like a charm.

I was a bit disappointed that the bracket is made of plastic instead of metal but the plastic is about 1/4" thick so I don't think there should be an issue with breaking, bending or fatigue. I was concerned about the fact that these stands have a glass base when I read the description. My worries were needless because the base is thick and sturdy - not an easy item to break.

I used 12 AWG speaker wire for my setup and there was no problem fitting the wire through the stand. However, I suggest threading the wire before assembling the stands rather than trying to pull the wire through.

I highly recommend these stands if you have Energy Take Classic speakers. This item also comes with a universal bracket in case you have another brand of speakers.

I did a lot of shopping around before purchasing this product. I'm glad that I went with these stands. I have them on a wood floor so stability wasn't a concern for me. They do come with "grippy" pieces that would help their stability on a rug. I assume that the "grippy pieces" would work well.

These stands are one height. For some reason I thought that they would have an adjustable height but they don't. I have one of the speakers behind a chair and ended up putting that speaker (which was to short) on top of my subwoofer. Now the speaker is tall enough to sound over the chair.

The stands worked with my Energy Take Classic speakers but it was tricky putting the stands together. I used a 12 AWG wire which I would not have been able to string through the pole if I had assembled the stands according to the directions. I was cautions about using the 12 AWG wire because of some of the previous reviews but had already purchased this size and wanted to us it. So...12 AWG wire does work with the stands and speakers but you need to push the wire through the pole before attaching the base to the stand and speaker to the stand. There is no way to get that think of a wire through once the base has been attached.

Enjoy these stand!

I love these speaker stands! Perfect high, and pair extremely well with my 2 rear Energy Take Classic satellite speakers. I could only fit 1 speaker wire through each stand sadly (I wanted to run a USB cable through it as well but couldn't).

The package arrived with very well protected box. After opening the package and starting to assemble the stands, I quickly realized that one of the glass plates could not hold the post at the straight 90 degree angle and found it to be defective. I wrote to the seller and Jarom responded quickly. He offered to ship a new plate to me and it arrived in a few days. Well the new plate had different color shade from the original pair. I wrote to Jarom and he asked me to take a few photos to show him and I did. He then ship another brand new pair of glass plates to me with return postage for me to return the three pieces I had. Long story short, the seller was quick to respond and was very professional in handling the whole matter. I am very pleased with the seller and will do business with these guys any time. By the way, the speaker stands are beautiful and well made except that they are not very sturdy in hold the little speakers.
