I bought a set for myself before I ordered for my nephew and younger sister(some other cheaper ones are actually plastic not metal).

I just got these tags in the mail yesterday, a week ahead of what amazon's shipping estimate said it would be! Looking at them now they are exactly what I was expecting, they are good and sturdy made of what looks and feels like steel. Just an FYI is to send them the info you want stamped on them right after you pay and then they ship them out asap(mine were sent out the next morning).

I for sure would and will be purchasing more of these for friends and family as gifts in the future.

I received my tags in record time - within the same week that I ordered.

When placing the order you get two dull-ish metallic tags, two guards/silencers, a long chain and a short one. In order to get the text you want on your tags you have to send the seller an email - I did via Amazon following my purchase where it'll say in order history "contact seller." When I shortly followed up with a change, the seller was quick to reply and assure me the update would be applied.

They arrived with the guards already in place inside a sensible bubble-lined envelope.

If you don't want the text to be obscured by the guard, I recommend expressly instructing the maker to skip the first space on each line before punching the first letter - keeping a true uniform left to right orientation. You get roughly 15-16 spaces per line.

They will punch different text per tag, just be sure you indicate what you want on tag 1 and tag 2.

Overall, I am very pleased.

If you buy dog tags anywhere else you are crazy! Super fast service, did exact wording as I asked, communicates well, cheap, great quality, and tons of options.......really just an amazing deal. Got them for my actual dog.

I got my dogs name, Mossberg, followed by my address and phone number on one.

The other I had the quote " If this Mossberg doesn't get you my other one will! "

The silencers I went with were woodland camo.

I foolowed his write up directions, keeping a space from the edge for the silencer and using blanks counting as one space and they came out perfect. He centered nicely per my request.

NEVER GO ANOTHER PLACE FOR DOG TAGS!

Ok, I figured for less than $5.00 shipped, what do I have to lose, so I ordered a pair of custom dog tags from Tag-Z. Well, I received the tags and chain today (a mere three days after ordering) and they are great! The custom imprint is exactly as I requested in my email to them. They fit perfectly and appear to be of military spec materials. Couldn't be happier with the product and for less than $5.00, you can't beat these guys.
