These are so versatile I have three. Please see my customer-supplied photos above to illustrate my following description.

My primary goal was to organize my household tool and repair drawer in my kitchen. Frankly it was a mess because I would not take the time to neatly store tools and parts. This organizer made that a simple task instead of a major chore.

I was so impressed with the results of the first drawer that I purchased two additional ones for my utensils and flatware drawer. Because these can expand I was able to completely cover the entire 34" wide drawer with two additional units. See my photos at the top of this page for how that worked out.

Physical dimensions of these - expanded - are 16" wide x 11" deep and 2" tall. While I would have preferred a more positive way to slot the individual compartments together that is a minor flaw that - to me - has been amply rectified by how handy these are when it comes to organizing drawers.

Not stainless steel. Came with a crack in it. Decided to keep I since I really needed and wanted another silverware drawer since I just got new stainless steel silverware 18/10. I put the mesh container in the dishwasher. When I took it out, it was running rust. I laid it on my stove top since it was still a little wet. Dark rusty water was dripping on my stove. I know this sounds like a fake review so I'm including pictures. I've never seen anything like this before. It's just too much trouble to return at this point. I ordered before the price dropped at on $16. Use at your own risk. If you don't believe me, try putting yours in the dishwasher as I did. And by the way, I've only had it out of the box 24 hours!!! If I have time, I will inform AMAZON directly. Also, my new silverware contained instruction not to allow it to be laid down too long on aluminum, could damage it it some way. So if you have nice silverware, you may not want yours in this unknown metal piece of junk especially if it's a little damp when you put it in. I didn't think about taking the pictures when it was running rust, but you can see the rust in the pictures.

When this arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised at the weight of this tray. It is a very well made organizer that I expect to outlast me. The compartments are more than big enough to hold service for 4 people plus my chef's knives, bread knives, paring knives, & such. This organizer by design, will keep your silverware & such cleaner than if it were made from a solid material.

Because of the style & quality of this organizer, my silverware drawer is so much better organized.

Yes I would, & have, recommended this to everyone I speak to.

This is NOT a purchase you will ever regret making.

Goes excellent with my stainless steel cutlery. Nice large areas and strong mesh. My knives have slammed into the mesh walls on this and they haven't made a ding. Well constructed and priced very well. Will probably last as long as one requires utensils.

The product is good. Exactly as mentioned by other reviewers. The reason i gave it a 4 star versus a 5 is that the 5 hold tray is the same for 7 hold tray as well. the extra two compartments for the 7 hold just slide out of 5 hold tray. Somehow, i do not like that design. i wish i had paid more attention and brought two 5 hold trays instead of one 7 hold.

After redoing the kitchen, we initially reused a lot of the old organizers, which did not quite fit, plus they were cheap junk anyway. I measured the drawers and considered what stuff I wanted where, and in how many compartments of what size. Then simply ordered a combination of these products to fill in the drawers and meet my needs. These things are reasonably attractive, very well made, and the tight mesh keeps my stuff in the compartments. The old ones were not so tight, and forks etc would poke out, get stuck, etc. Tip: Get some Contact brand 'Grip Liner' - rubber like material comes in sheets, cut to fit (got mine at HD but Amazon sells I think), and place on drawer bottom. These organizers will not ever move around at all. I use the stuff in my pot drawers too.

A great deal for any drawer that needs to be organized! I bought this one for my silverware drawer that needed some organization and it works great for what I needed and wanted and at an awesome price. There's so much expansion room that you can use this for small drawers like my apartment ones, or in a larger drawer for a bigger kitchen. It's super easy to clean and organize cooking utensils and the mesh looks very nice in the drawer. Would definitely recommend this product.

For longer silverware like butter knives, this falls short but the construction is made well and it fits nicely in the drawer. Doesn't clank silverware much when shutting drawer like some other organizers will.
