    I just wanted to write a review to make sure that people understand that this polo fits perfectly for those who want a "Slim Fit" shirt. I have bought many slim fit polos from Old Navy and so I understand what the typical size is supposed to feel like. I wear a size "large" and I am about 6 feet tall weighing around 190lbs. I workout 3 times a week and so I have an athletic body type. After receiving these polos from Amazon, I tried them on and they fit just like the Old Navy ones I have in my closet. The material is equally as thick, which means that you might see a little with lighter colors. I always wear a white undershirt so this is not a problem. With the gold colored polo, I can see some of my jeans bleed through by my waist, but this is normal even with old navy polos. The only noticeable difference between this polo and an Old Navy one is that the button down collar goes down a little further. Definitely not a deal breaker as I enjoy the polos I bought, but it is something I should note since I am comparing the two a lot in this review. I hope this helps to clarify the sizing a bit more as many reviewers are claiming these polos are sized 3 times smaller than listed. I believe these people just haven't worn slim fit polos before. I hope this helps.

    I wear XL shirts, but noticed the "slimmer fit" in the description so decided I better try the XXL, shipped and received within 24 hours! But I put the shirt on and it fit like a LARGE, I felt like I was trying on a shirt made for the Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister/American Eagle crowd. I wish I had that body type, but alas the ravages of time have taken their toll. Normally I'd save the shirt and pass it onto someone who could wear it or use it to work on the car or around the house, but it was just too small so I decided to return the item, a first for me on Amazon. I was a little leery about the process, since the shirt only cost $12.99, I didn't want to have to spend more money to ship it back and take the time to go to UPS or the USPS. But I perceivered and low and behold "as a valued Amazon customer" I didn't even have to return the item!! Way to go Amazom, I guess the $1000's I've spent over the last couple years paid off in good customer service!

    I usually wear between a Large and Extra Large, so I ordered some of each size as I am currently on a diet. Both sizes are too small. In fact, the XL is the exact same size as the L when laid on top of one another. I'm not sure if there was a bad run of labeling these, but I almost assuredly received medium shirts that were labeled XL and L. Oddly they were all different colors. Seems really strange considering most people voted this as "Fit as Expected".

    See the attached photo I have a Lee XL, a Lee L, and a Hanes XL all laid on top of one another. Take notice of the shoulder seams.

    Very disappointed, but I made the mistake of washing them and pitching the tags before I tried them on, so I can't return. Lesson learned.

    Most men's polos of recent have gotten very baggy and shapeless. This is a good fit which really defines your upper body. The arms fit snug and define the biceps. It is a handsome shirt but you need to be gym-toned to pull this off. It is equal to the fit of the standard polo shirts from the mid 80s.The colors are great. The the price is a steal.

    I ordered Lee Uniforms Men's Short Sleeve Uniforms Polo in MEDIUM, and in Navy/Red/Purple colors. They all arrived at the same time but the 3 of them fit differently!!! I actually said to myself, "I wonder if these are perhaps made in different locations or countries" and lo and behold, one was made in Egypt, one in Bangladesh, and one in India! SOOOO, my advice to you would to be to try on EACH shirt you buy because they fit differently. The purple one for me was too big/billowy, the navy was a little tight, and red was juuust about right and I expect after 1-2 washings it will be a great fit.

    Also, I'm 5'11'' about 175 lbs, runner. The red one fit great, but the sleeves are just a tad too wide....you really can't tell from looking at it, and yes while I'm not super muscle-ish by any means, I do have some definition, yet the sleeves hardly touch my skin... but body wise the shirt is perfect and if I did a small, it'd be too tight of a shirt I'm guessing.

    Anyway, I kept 1 of the 3, and I hope it treats me well :-)

    Yes i wrote that three times. I ordered three shirts, all extra large. They weren't even close to being Xtra large. Now I understand, the one shirt I bought said "Slim fit", but the other two were not and were still way too small.
