Some of the other reviews mentioned that the apron and hat were a little bit big, that is a huge understatement. Both are huge and can fit my husband and myself while they do not fit my daughter. It will be several years before my daughter (2) can fit in this apron or hat. By then she will have likely outgrown the Hape Kitchen. Otherwise both seem durable and are well made. Would not recommend for younger kids.

I couldnt get my two year old to take this off once on. She absolutely loves it and so do I. It is nicely made, I thought the oven mitt could really be used with heat, that's how realistic it feels. But it has clear directions not to do that. My two year old looks adorable in it although it is big for her, I just adjusted the neck and ties in the back to fit a little more snug. We purchased this for our boys(3 and 8) for Christmas to use in conjunction with their Kidkraft Deluxe Kitchen! It seems to be very good quality! The size says for ages 3-5 but it actually fit out 8 year old really well! The hat and apron were a tad too big for our 3 year old but it doesn't stop him from playing with it! They both love it and it makes for a very convincing chef cooking up lots of treats in their kitchen!

This was bought as a Christmas present for our now 3.5 year old. The 'Gourmet Chef' hat fits him just right as does the oven mitt. The apron is pretty long. It doesn't drag on the floor and he is just an inch or two more than 3 feet. The whole set is absolutely adorable. If you're child loves to play pretend chef or cook in the kitchen with you, they will love this! Also, the mitt is for pretend and has a safety warning stitched in on the OUTSIDE of the mitt. Not just a hidden tag no one will read. Our son can read so it was great that he could read and understand that indeed, it was for pretend and not for actual oven use. Great price. Bright colors. Excellent quality. Glad we purchased!

Very flimsy fabric. Was going to use this to cook with my 3 y.o., but will make an apron for him from something sturdier myself. Can't imagine this apron to soak up any sort of stain - it will get on the clothes beneath straight away.

This was a gift for my very tall 5 year old. She absolutely loves this. The hat and oven mitt fit perfectly. I was a little surprised that the apron was so long on her (considering she is very tall). However I was happy to see this knowing she will get lots of use out of this before she grows out of it. I was surprised to see it is advertised for 3-5 year olds when the apron was so big. It does not tie or adjust around the neck so if it is too long it is not adjustable without getting creative.

This set was a little larger than I was hoping. More for an older child (5+) which is probably what the information said if I had read it. The apron did come with a few threads loose on the binding around the edge which was starting to come off. Amazon quickly refunded my money for the item.
