I bought this seat so that my daughter (4 months) and my son (2 years) could both take a bath together. It is way easier for me for them to take a bath at the same time. Only thing I wish this seat had is a strap similar to what bouncy seats have so that they don't slide down. I am constantly moving my daughter up so that she doesn't slide off. It's only a small nuisance but it would definitely be an improvement. Overall I like this seat way more than those infant tubs.

I used this tub in blue for my son, and now this bather in pink for my daughter. We tried several different bathers before we bought this one.

Pros:

1. It's soft! The mesh allows fresh water from the bath to keep your baby warm. The hard enclosed bathers always made our son wail.
2. It folds up compactly and we are able to store it away.
3. It lasts forever. My son was able to use his for the longest time. He outgrew it far before it was needing to be replaced.
4. Very affordable price especially compared to other bathers.

Cons:
1. It's super hard to fold up the first several times. The plastic has to give a bit.
2. It really needs a strap. The baby continually is sliding down and has to be readjusted.

Overall, a great product & an amazing good deal.

Pros: Lightweight, compact, washable, baby doesn't slip on the mesh seat

Cons: Does not support baby from falling off the sides into the water (or whatever surface is below the bather), slick feet - I set it on a towel to keep it from sliding around in the tub, difficult adjust

Note: Instructions don't indicate if there is a safest seat position for newborns

This would be much better with a belt or strap. I am probably going to add one because otherwise it is almost impossible to keep baby in place. She doesn't fall out, just quickly slides down during her wash. She doesn't totally fall out, just ends up very slouched and scrunched uncomfortable.

This is the best bather I have used. It is much more comfortable for my daughter! I love the material that keeps her WARM but lets her be safely sitting in the water. I'm giving three stars because it does need a few improvements. It needs something to keep the baby's bottom from sliding down. I have started putting this sideways in the tub. It keep it from sliding and it puts it at a better angle so she doesn't slide so much. This really does stay put pretty good in my tub (I have a textured bottom tub with a no slip mat attached). But I would prefer it to have suction cups for more safety. My kids like to be sitting in the water.

This seat is ok. It's a little small and awkward for the baby to sit it. I brought it to the beach and it worked while the baby was still a newborn. She outgrew it pretty quickly. You have to be really careful they don't fall out because the sides do not support the baby well at all

Not the best option for a newborn, I should have gone with a flower mat sink bather. My baby is 6lbs and she is in a fetal position most of the time. She could easily roll right out of this bather. I'll just have to be really careful.

Oh, it's also hard to adjust the recline on this bather.

Not sure what stage this is for because my 5 month old rolled right out of it during our test use. Any younger and she doesn't have the head control enough to be in this kind of seat. It's not deep, so babies can slide/roll right out.
