This is the thin sheet metal version adapter sold by most hardware stores. This one has heavy construction, is nicely finished, and of very high quality. I expect this fitting will stand up to many years of daily use. Well worth the higher cost.

I recently installed this fitting as the last component on a new water manifold for drip irrigation systems in my garden. It is a heavy duty well built adapter and should last for years compared to the rather flimsy hose adapters I found in local hardware stores.It's well worth the price.

Very well made. I have not seen anything as well made as this at a store. The inside diameter is rather small though, maybe 1/2 inch. I think it is an awesome fitting though.

Well Made, Heavy Brass, Best Female Hose Swivel Thread Adapter I Have Used. I have had several of the sheet metal ones that break with a little hose pulling. This one is tough, and has a nice hex to get a wrench on.
