brews strong, mellow flavour (i'm used to stronger teas), & the same bag can brew a LOT of tea.

steep the bag for at least 4+ minutes till the flavour & colour show!! majority of people, i know, brew teas too fast so they are weak, yet the people have never had proper tea so they're fine with it!?
guayusa, yerba mate & ginseng are a great combination!! mellow, yet 'energizing'.

price-wise it IS a tad more expensive, but as i can brew more out of one bag (usually 3 pints, key is to NOT let the bag go dry!!) it s very worth it!!

As soon as you rip the yellow package, all you can smell are lemons, meyer's lemons and more lemons. Wow, what a refreshing clean and cooling scent! The taste is not that far behind. Taste super lemony. I don't really taste the guayusa much but I frankly don't mind. Beautiful golden yellow tone. Doesn't get bitter like green tea or yerba mate. Definitely prefer this than lemon mate. And definitely this has all natural flavors, no fake taste at all like other brands. I love waking up to this on a super hot Summer morning with the sun shining at 5am, birds singing, with a little thirst yet still want some caffeine.. this will take care of all those needs. What a great iced tea this would make for guests I believe with some mint. ;)

As for the caffeine? Well this does perk me up but not as strong as black tea or coffee does. Relaxes me, oddly. I would definitely buy this again but frankly, only for the lemon scent and if that's the case, I rather try Stash Meyer's Lemon tea and see if I like it like this one. Stash is amazing with it's teas!

BTW, I just checked their website and it seems they have this Guayusa Lemon out of stock or maybe it will be discontinued? Don't know. Glad I can still find it here on Amazon so better stock up on this flavor. TRUST me, you won't regret it!

I can get this stuff down with extra sugar or added flavors from a different, second tea bag. It does have good stuff in it as a tonic to keep your day going. So it works.

If you're not used to Yerba Mate types of South American teas, this is not the one to lead off with.

I try to pair it with a fruit tea or other stronger flavors to overpower the mental idea that I'm just swallowing dried lawn clippings. :) but hey, it's good for you!

This tea brings me an alertness that no other tea or coffee ever has.
Amazingly the tea does not have caffeine, yet it gives me more energy and stamina than any caffeinated drink. Additionally there is no caffeine "crash" -- just a slow, mellow, return to a relaxed state of mind.
