I love the whole thicker easier to grip pen. For people like me with arthritic hands, they are a joy. Now they come in all kinds of colors. I would give this amazing color a 5 star; except it feels very cheaply made. For the money I spent on this one pen, I am dissatisfied!

Thanks to this line of pens, I'm able to write for much longer periods. I have psoriatic arthritis, so my end finger joints are deformed and painful. My worst joint is the one that leans on a pen, so this is a big deal. The softer feel of the grip on this pen is very comfortable, while giving me an easy surface to keep hold of with very little pressure. The larger size of the barrel is just right (I've tried larger, very expensive pens that were awkward). If you shop around here at Amazon you'll find that the price of this pen varies quite a bit. If you're not picky about which color barrel you buy you can pay as little as three dollars. The ink is nice and smooth, dries quickly, and writes a medium point. I do wish that the ink was darker and more intense, and I would love to see this with a bold point. Colored ink would be good too! I also love the Dr. Grip counterbalance line of weighted pens.

These are my favorite pens. My hands tend to get fatigued and other pens will slip but have never had a problem with these. The only issue is that people are always trying to steal them from me
