In case you are wondering yes the hex shank is plastic and will break eventually. Mine only lasted me a couple carboys and SNAP! Garbage. This happend right as soon as the twisted metal shaft got a little bit bent out of the straight position and the thing gave way and broke what almost seemed like instantly. If you are not experiencing the hard set crud inside your carboy this product will work pretty good, for a while, to remove the fresh soiling of the glass. If you let it sit or are dealing with trying to remedy the hard set film like crud from hell on the sides of your carboy, I recommend looking elsewhere for a more substantially built product or just replace the carboy.

Very cheap. Pad doesn't reach sides of carboy. Shaft is too flimsy, bends easily. Junk. Save your money. Better quality out there for same money.

For what it is supposed to do, it works OK. But it is not good against stubborn stains. And pretty quiuckly the drill adapter will pop off. Of course, it pops back on, so...This is good for light cleaning.
