I lucked up on finding this product. I was using IC hair gel however I ran out and I decided to use my sister's ampro olive oil. This was the best hair gel I used. No flakiness, it doesn't leave your hair hard and crunchy and it gives it a nice hold. I am natural so this product works well when my hair is wet. My curls are well defined with this product. I would definitely recommend it.

Love this stuff. I have frizzy, straight and wavy hair. I used to have straight hair till I got pregnant with my second son. I had perms done regularly. After My son was born I got a permanent, perm:) they say thank to hormones. The top is straight, the sides and first layer of hair in the back is wavy, the middle section is so frizzy it looks dry if I don't put something on it and the last layer close to my neck is more straight with just a little wavy (sometimes). Yes..I've had to figure a few things out to make my hair somewhat copacetic. I use the Onesta hydrating shampoo and conditioner and after I use 10 keratin spray and hair serum then I apply Ampro Olive Oil Gel and this sets everything. When my hair dries it's soft and shiny. It doesn't have a crunch to it. I've been using it for about 2 years now and my hair is in excellent condition even though the frizzy part looks dry when I don't control it. My hairdresser said that it's not because my hair is dry that it looks that way with the frizz part it looks like that because it's got such teeney, tiny little curls along the hair shaft that it just fractals. I've tried tons of hair gels and this so far is the best in price and looking naturally soft when your hair dries. I don't blow dry it straight very often because my hair takes forever to dry. I just let it dry natural and it looks amazingly shiny. But I'm sure if you used it then blow dry it straight it would still have a great shine. One more hint...I store my gel in the fridge then I apply it this helps close the hair shaft and add extra shine. As far as knowing how much to use...I had to start with a little and experiment till I found the best amount and look that worked to control my frizz and make mt hair look great.

I love the Ampro Olive Oil Gel. It's thicker than the Ampro Pro Styl Protein Gel, it's clear, It has an excellent hold and it doesn't flake. I've also tried the Eco Styler brand Olive Oil gel, however, in my opinion Ampro is much nicer in hold and without flaking. Great product and great price for the tub.

This is the first time that I tried this version of ampro gel. Based on reviews I thought we'd give it a shot, and it's a really good gel for styles that you want to keep soft and frizz free. My youngest daughter puts it on her hair at night before braiding it and wakes up to frizz free waves that last all day and look fantastic. Be warned, it's a huge jar :)

I love this stuff! My hair is really course and it lays it down well without needing an edge control gel. I've come to find that it also keeps my scalp moisturized. How? When I ran out, my scalp started to flake without it. I bought more and started using it again regularly to slick my hair down and the flaking went away. This is a good everyday staple for your hair without drying it out. Good stuff! Don't forget to wash your hair every couple of days. Haha

This product is very good. I really love it. Eco was my favorite but not any more cause this one has taken it's place because it leaves your hair very shinny and soft but with a reasonable hold at the same time. The only reason why I won't buy it from on here anymore is because it's way too expensive. I bought another two bottles from another site for less than this so shop around on line and you'll see what I'm talking about. The shine it give is awesome and it have a clean scent that I love but I've heard other say that they didn't so it's a matter of preference.

I recently bought the olive and tea tree gel but I didnt like it would just curl my hair up when im trying to lay it down.I bought this and noticed a big difference this layed my hair down.when it dried my hair was hard but was easily brushed out.
