Perfect for my prius v, as other phone holders do not have a good place to put without obstructing your view. Very sturdy and elegant looking. Short stub which is perfect. I use a iphone 5 with otterbox by the way. It grabs the phone very nicely , i highly recommend it, & im very picky, so please consider my review:)

I had no place in my car to mount my portable GPS. I tried several solutions and nothing worked. This was the perfect answer. I even found that it can be used as a phone holder which turns out to be an even better use for it. No more phone flying through the car when braking hard. The only reason I give it 4 starts instead of 5 is because it is not as flexible as it looks. The 90 degree bend is rigid. You can not alter the bend. The adjustments at the other two ends are very limited. But after a bit of twisting and turning I finally found a workable position. Also the phone or GPS may shake a bit on roads that are not smooth.

But I really like this device and would highly recommend it.

This is the best phone holder I've found. I only use it when Im using GPS on my phone or traveling. My wife liked mine so much I bought her one and she uses it everyday. It adjusts to fit your cup holders and it provides a very snug fit.

Arrived on time, and excellent build quality. If your cup holder aligns vertical with shift gear, and rests at bottom of alignment, you may be a little inconvenienced, or not like this positioning. If your cup holders rests to the side of shift gear, then you will love this device.

There is a little tiny screw that holds the unit together and after a month of using the device it completely imploded. The screw won't go back in and the company has not returned any of my calls or emails. Very poorly made. The screw in design sucks.

What a great gadget. Secures very tightly in cup holder. Just the right height so that I can rest my arm on armrest and easily touch my iPhone.
Adjustable to my iPhone, and case, no problems. The supports for the bottom of the phone flip up/down so they don't interfere with the charging or audio out cables. Smart.
The cradle and side supports are padded, nice.
The post is very flexible and adjustable, but it's not easy, so it won't accidentally change position. Quality. For me, this means I can kink the post off to the R side to keep room for me to use the stick shift, see picts.
Only knock I would give this is the base is a little too tall for my cup holder, and isn't quite a flush fit.

I ordered this because of the great reviews. While it might stay firmly in a cup holder- it is lacking something quite essential in my opinion. Yes, it is wide enough for my Samsung Note 2 with it's Otterbox Commuter case... but, the feet at the bottom of the holder are too small to keep the phone from falling out while trying to close the clamps onto the phone. This could potentially not be an issue, IF there was a non-slip backing on the holder for the back of the phone, BUT, there is not- it's slick, hard plastic, which gives the phone nothing to grip on to, so the phone flies out of the holder when I'm trying to clamp it in. So with that and the tiny feet on the holder, it required 2 hands to put the phone in- which when you are quick and on the go- is not convenient. I also don't trust that on a bumpy road or what not, the feet are not big enough to give the phone added support from falling out. I ended up purchasing the iKross Universal Adjustable Car Vehicle Cup mounted holder. It is just as tight of a fit in the cup holder, has larger feet, a non-slip back pad, and better quality of padding over-all, not to mention a bit of a longer neck- which I find nicer so that my phone is not too low- but I do drive a Tacoma truck. The iKross also comes with extra charging ports if that fancies you.
I give it 2 stars for the fact that it stays in the cup holder tight- that's it, but other than that, it's too short for my vehicle, and only someone with a smaller phone not in a case that can take advantage of the tiny feet will like this.
And now I have to pay return shipping for a unit that does not work for me even though I am a prime member :(

This is great for cars that have a front cup-holder (cup-holder that is front of the gear shift) that you don't use--and those who have cup-holders that are similarly close by. Surprisingly sturdy, strong, and secure-- this mount is just a touch away from the gear shift that feels very natural.

Instead of attaching something to your air-vents or rear-view mirror, sticking something on your dash or windshield, or whatnot...this perfectly utilizes a cup-holder that you likely normally don't use. The bottom is adjustable to fit various cup-holder sizes and the holder fits many different phones.

I used to put my phone in cup-holders because most mounts don't really flow well to the style of the car. Once I found this...this mount seems like it was an added feature.

Most of it is strong plastic, much like any mount out there. The base rotates to adjust to the cup-holder size and will feel "tight" when it's secure. Don't over rotate it as it may strain the plastic. You can take it out and use it in other cars with relative ease (remember to rotate it out, don't pull it), I'd just recommend buying a spare (very inexpensive).

The holder has a nice grip and keeps the phone from moving around (can also be adjusted) plus allows space to run wires on the sides. I used a Nokia Lumia 920 (Windows Phone) and this was perfect.
