Works a lot better than previous chemicals I've used. I use about 6 oz per treatment instead of the 2 oz recommended, but it really keeps the smell down. Only exceptions are when it's really hot outside and you go over 5-7 days without dumping. Most of the time adding a little more will do the trick and give you another day or two before it needs dumping. Great value price per treatment wise.

i have been using this for 7 years for 2 to 7 day camping trips and it works to solve all smell problems in the black and grey water tanks. i use it just as described 2 ounces per 40 gallon. it is not messy and it is easy to use. biggest selling point for me it is a responsible alternative to formaldahyde based materials and is less dangerous.

I had trouble getting this, the first jug leaked and carrier listed as undeliverable. When I called Amazon, They did immediate shipment and I received the next day. This jug was also leaking, but only a few ounces were gone, so I accepted shipment.
The chemical was not as strong as some I have used, but at a third of the price it is a good buy.

This does not work well. I have tried it a number of times but maybe it only works when you don't need it. I just moved the motor home this morning after it sat for a week and a half. I poured in over the recommended amount and our tank is nearly empty. Our coach stinks when I drove it this morning. So I don't think this works well.

I started living in an RV nearly 4 months now no noisy neighbors 5 inches away now.

At first I started using some drop in packets made by Thetford just because the packets were easier even though the packets cost about 70 cents each.

I found this orange scented TST and decided to switch to this instead of the packets because a treatment of liquid TST is only 31 cents, and I can get it locally.

A lot of people do not like to use liquids for one reason or another. The TST Is plentiful and the packets are often sold out.

Using luquid TST could not be easier. 2 fl OZs (60 ml) of TST treats a 40 gallon black water tank. 2 fl OZs is 1/4th a cup so get a 1/4 cup measuring cup and keep it with the TST.

What I did was take one of the many scoops that came in Whey protein (most of the protein scoops are 65 cc scoops. Now 65 cc is the same as 65 ml so I took one of these 65 cc scoops and cut the handle off and turned upside down over the lid of the TST.

Before you do the same check the size of the scoop (usually printed on the bottom of the scoop) a few whey protein scoops are larger because of sugar and flavorings.

First I dump the black water tank, then I fill the scoop almost full and pour it in the commode, and release it into the black water tank with the necessary amount of water. There is always a drop or three staying inside the scoop.

Since the same product can be used to treat the grey water too I rinse the scoop with water at the vanity and then I return the scoop upside down over the lid of the TST.Read more ›

I have been using the TST green or Orange product for years, but I was taking my RV to campgrounds where I could flush the tank before going home.

This year I put my RV on property we own. I have to shuttle water up to the camper since there is no well on site.
I use the RV every other weekend for 4 nights. I have no way to flush the tank accept back flowing the gray water into the tank as I dump it into a blue tank I take home. then I fill about 5 gallons into the black tank plus 4oz TST.

TST green or Yellow fails for what I need. The RV will start to stink big time. There is always solids (not just paper) coming out of the tank so we know for sure TST is not devolving solids. Next summer I will try some of the other products on the market that are bacteria based.

But if your a weekend (or week vacation) worrier, this stuff works great, and it don't seem to poison the septic system like the stinky blue stuff does.
