I purchased this chair for a great price $42 and now it's back to $80 on Amazon. It came nicely packaged. There was no assembly as it is a one piece chair.

So far, I've only tested sitting in the chair for 30 minutes. I have sat in other zero gravity chairs like this before. What impresses me the most about this particular chair is that you don't have to lift up the arm rests or push/pull/screw other adjustments to get the chair to recline. All you do is push back to recline and it locks by itself. There is nothing to fiddle with to get the chair to recline. Also, I am a short gal and it didn't take much effort to push myself into the reclined position either. The fabric pattern is very attractive The chair is also very comfortable. Nothing seemed to poke at me as I was sitting.

I would say that if you are tall, over 6' or wider, this chair will be a tighter squeeze.

Overall I'm very satisfied. It feels very sturdy, not cheap.

Nice material and fairly sturdy and lightweight. Folds up easily to a small footprint. However, center of gravity tends to work against getting the chair back to upright, meaning sometimes you can struggle to get up in it. Not a huge deal if you are fit with a strong back, but if older and/or in pain you may have issues. Armrests are skinny, doesn't feel good to leave arms on them very long.

For the price paid (under $40) I'm fairly happy with this purchase.

I have a bad back, when I sit in this chair it totally relaxes my back. I take it where ever I know I am going to be just hanging outdoors. It is perfect, quality of material, and frame perfect. This is a great deal.

I have not used this chair very long yet and do update my reviews if my opinion changes or something about the product I discover changes my opinion. I do not think there is much to discover.

First, let me say the chair is comfortable, except for one problem I will warn you about below. The weight seems excessive, but that may just because all of these types of chairs are heavier because of the design, but that wouldn't lose a star. It is easy to open and close, which makes it extremely easy to put away, which you should when you are done using it. Do not leave it out in the rain or a very windy day. You may find it blown away and possibly broken or rusted. You can clean it down with a hose, which appears to work fine and the chair dries quickly because the fabric is very water resistant. The headrest, while a big stiff, works fine and is adjustable, which is great because my wife is much shorter than I. And the continuous locking mechanism is a nice touch so you can adjust the position in which you sit. I am not sure if that is available across all chairs of this type or not.

But you have to be aware of the problems with the chair.

1. First and foremost, the arms on the chair are hard molded plastic and narrow. That alone takes off one and a half stars. No matter how I place my arms, they hurt after a very short period and I find myself not using the arm rests, which bugs me because I want to. These should be cushioned, at least a bit, because when you are seated in the chair, and you put your arms on the arm rests, the pressure is relatively high because of your position, so it hurts.

2. The chair is difficult to get into. You have to come in at an angle from the front and it appears to me that this would be very difficult for the elderly to use.Read more ›

We ordered two of these. One of them we received looked like it was 10 years old but still in the box. Rust on the metal. Lots of sand in the box too? We sent it back and got a new one with no problems at all. They are comfortable and look well-made. Hope to get a lot of use out of them this summer.

These chairs are great for camping. They don't take up too much space and are an easy set up. Very comfortable...so comfortable I sat by the lake and finished off my book. I'd buy more but hey! I don't need any more. Checked a local retail store for price and even though they were cheaper, when tax was added, I came out ahead with Amazon.

Just got it and the right arm rest was not connected to the frame. I was about to put it back in the box and send it back but noticed it was a screw missing and checked inside the box...found the screw and refastened the arm. A lot of the joints are connected with bolts, screws and nuts while most other Zero gravity recliners use rivets. I'm not sure yet which is better but the fact the screw came loose during shipping may be a bad sign. Overall, the fabric, metal tubing frame, and the stop lever that holds it locked in position, all look like nice quality. The stretch cord that attaches the fabric to the frame is doubled and the fabric has a flap that covers the string and grommets which is a nice touch. We own a few different brands of this style chair and they all get rusty... also, the string gets rotted and breaks after a few years. I expect the same from this and any other chair... I guess fine condition for the first three years and fair to poor condition after the fourth year. $50 is a fair price for that :)
